What is the worst thing your boss did to you?
Heard from a friend that he flew out to his office in the middle of the night from his wedding because mortgage backed securities started to crumble in NA during ’07 crisis. Dude was bummed.

Initially he asked me to fill his water bottle, bring snacks for him. Dint mind doing 1-2 times. But it was continuous with other juniors too.
Took a chance one day to spit on his water bottle and brought snacks for the whole team (20 people, kurkure and frooti). 🫢

1. Infosys — 70 hours
2. All American Consumer Tech(Black Friday, Cyber Mondays) — Diwali time frame
@BizSnatch now let’s run another thought experiment. If companies are asking their employees to do all of this, it could only mean that they are experiencing a supply side constraint or demand side constraint.
Once you figure that out: we can go long or short on those stocks.

I’ll bail on this! Market is not reliant on employee’s management. It’s usually on P&L

I proposed a business plan. Boss was meh.
MD saw it implemented by a competitor somewhere few months later and asks my Boss why haven't we tried it yet. Boss goes mad exactly at 1045 PM in the night and blasts me on the phone for 40 mins straight!
3 months later: I was sitting happily at my farewell party.
Just imagine me chilling in my bed enjoying a web series after a decent dinner and I receive a call at that time from my boss only to get blasted for something he didn't give a fuck about few months ago. I mean what's my fault here? 😂

He tried to get me into debt so that I become more dependent on my job so I'm less likely to resign.
Made me work on continuous weekends for over a month and then sent the feedback that I don't work hard enough.
Tried to pin the blame for product launch failure on me.
Hired an undeserving candidate in my team, forced me to accept that person. Berated me for his underperformance and then pinned the blame for his firing on me. That person later sent me texts full of angst and grudge because he thinks I got him fired.

No fault of the company, He resigned a month after I left because he wasn't able to pin his failures on me anymore.
Also, I'll lose my anonymity after naming the company.

Well tbh if I was losing shit due to a global financial crisis which will end up wiping a few trillions off the economy then I would also call the whole team in.
One of my teammate asked for leave for mother’s treatment, on that the manager asked who will be your backup. This became the lowest point of any reply from any manager I know.

Took Work From Home (Approved by Them earlier) for a month. Team Lead asked me to Resign after I came back due to budget constraints....And I did it. The Manager didn't accept any meetings with me or talk to me in office till the last day. I worked for 3 years and set up many procedures too, it wasn't the right way they handled.
