How’s the wlb? How are the Indian teams treated?

PayPal has one of the best wlb.
There are often times when you have to stretch(specially holiday seasons) but rest assured you are the owner of your work and life in here.
In comparison if I rate google wlb at 10, PayPal is at 9.5

Are there any teams where WLB or culture are more intense/ much easier?

Till date I have never heard anyone complain about WLB.
but you must understand that during holiday seasons(thanksgiving Black Friday) activities can be a little stretch for a month but other than that work is very chill with good innovation

The interview process is quite similar to all top product based company. DSA + culture round

Don’t know for now. But can expect they won’t call back to office this year.

I'm finding it difficult to understand the situation. A friend, who is a BI developer, was laid off by PayPal, and on the same day, my wife received a call from them for the same role.

Next: The hiring manager is pressuring her to complete all interview rounds (4) within 2 days, even making remarks about her inability and calling her unprofessional and showing lack of interest for not completing assignments on weekdays.

What's up with PayPal (and hiring team)?

More layoffs at paypal is ahead. Lot of restructuring is happening internally and morale is at all time low. Sad to see all this happening.

Horrible Layoff’s in PayPal India.

Paypal has a really good work culture and work life balance. I'm currently working on state of the art products, so even the work is very good. Leadership has some problems but overall I think it's good. But the only problem I see is less pay compared to the market average, which is kinda frustrating.

I have survived this round of layoff in PayPal b it I am pretty sure we are gonna be having another round by year end.
In this current scenario I am hearing a lot about google and some specific companies opening positions for software engineering.
What should be your recommendation in the current scenario 
Try to switch companies
