Adulting is hard

Looking back at our college days, I remember how close we were. We used to think our friendship would last forever not only friends but cousins too, but things have changed. No one keeps in touch anymore. The friends I used to fart with are now distant, and when we do talk, it's only after months. It's frustrating. We're doing well financially, but our relationships are suffering. Whether it's because of work pressure or being tied to the office, we can't visit our hometowns as often as we'd like. On weekends, I find myself drinking alone, scrolling through old photos and videos of friends and family with some songs playing, and crying. Life goes on...! Monday comes restart....! I just wanted to share the feelings so i did :)

Not sure if anyone feels completely exhausted during the weekends. My energy levels are decent during the week but come weekends and my energy levels crash. Apart from talking to friends, I have little energy to do anything else like reading a book, working on a side-project, etc. Wanted to know if anyone else feels the same way. And if someone has been able to reverse this and have more energy on weekends.

I wait all week for weekend, then realize I just didn't have enough fun on the weekend. What makes a good weekend? How can I make sure that this Monday I go to office feeling like I had a nice weekend. Give suggestions please 🙏

People who don't have frnds/gf/bf, what you guys do on weekends and how do you spend time. I feel so bored during weekends . Suggest something.

So I wanted to know what kind of things you do or personality you have after your working hours. Basically you could list down your hobbies or maybe skills you are trying to learn or anything else. Looking forward to some out of the box responses I'll go first, so I am currently focusing on my fitness, going to the gym and trying to correct my routine to wake up early. Also wanting to learn a musical instrument like a harmonica or a flute but still procrastinating on that one😂.

I am doing work from home from last 2 year and it's pretty good but my entire friend circle has moved to their office location delhi, blr aur Bombay and my college friends also got split into different cities Sure, we catch up during occasional visits or hometown hangouts and trips, but most days, it's just me, myself, and my laptop. I've tried moving to Bangalore and stayed couple of months, but traffic take lot of time to just meet friends and people are mostly into over work and then just drinking and smoking and don't want to talk about flats, transport and other problem so whoever doing work from home from their hometown, how do you deal with this my hometown is tier 3 city and routine is kind of wake up, coding, gym, movies or anime or leetcode and sleep

Has someone else also felt this that the weekends feel too lonely and saddening. I go to office 5 days a week have good set of work friends across team (the people in my fellowship), go to gym and hangout with people in PG. But boom as weekend is here there is no work no Gym no friends in office or pG to hangout with. Friday night I pass with playstation games but Saturday becomes like a helll for me. I forcibly motivate myself to give a mock test on Sunday and end the weekend but weekend is like the worst part of my week. Anyone else facing it or tips to make it better

I have recently shifted to mumbai. Thought of finding love through dating apps. So, I created Tinder profile and taken platinum subscription on the platform. Swiped many profiles. 1st match I got in mumbai after using boost feature on the app. The match I got from profile was not verified. So I chatted for a day and decided to meet. When you are chatting with girl 1st time. Everything girl says you believe and do. She told that she will meet and waited for 2 hrs hasn't got a reply. I wasted my duty hours in search of love. Then I continued to chat and 3rd day I dared to meet. She is so, specific on Andheri West location. Says some story as new to city don't know. Meet there 1st time. After meeting and my friend went there a mall. After reaching a mall she specifically send a location. It's somewhat uncomfortable for guys itself in mumbai to go there in Galli in night time. I insisted her to reach a public space like mall but she is so specific to reach a specific location. Its anyhow a scam . If you find anything like Andheri West/ Andheri East all are scamstars they don't meet just to loot a person who reachs that location. Then I have got a match from verified profile. This girl also saying to meet at same location and same area. I have blocked both the profiles. After that an unverified match came to my profile. He directly sent WhatsApp link. After chatting with that a Chinese girl just updates her messages with broadcast messages and sells her ebay networking business through whatsapp. I feel mostly malasian numbers chatting through whatsapp are scammers with some marketing agenda. Mostly tinder is for paid hookups and scammers. After that I started using Jeevansathi app in mumbai. Here a profile looked genuine and had a journey through whatsapp for 11 days. On first 2 days I felt like almost every likes and dislikes matches with her. I was in cloud9 and got my soulmate in my life. But the real thing started when I asked for voice call she ignored . Then after a day I got a what's app call with female voice. A person who hears female voice and speaks in a possessive tone with me. I thought she is a wife material as per insta videos a person who cares about your finances and discuss pre marriage likes and dislikes. I just believed and continued for next 7 days.. She had asked all the financial details about savings, and after marriage kids future corpus building.I really respected her dream and vision. I asked video call confirmation for profile genunity. She said a story that she had a dream of first meet to be life long remembered meet and showcased in video and show to kids how we met.she wants to connect emotionally first. So I asked her I want identity confirmation. Then she said I will give. Anything I ask for 2nd time she gets angry. One day she shared some identity proof matching profile picture and name. After that I shared mine after a night gap. She has shown fire in the conversation. I really feared by the way she dealt. Next day she was not the way you used to be. After this trust issues sorted slightly. I told her I am trusting you blindly. But she would everytime say she is busy and only she would chat in messages without calls and video calls . Still I continued conversation with her 10 days. I discussed same with other mumbaite regarding this behaviour as these all are new to me. She straight away said it's fake. I told her it might be potential match. She replied 😂LOL😂. She said ladka baat kr rha hoga koi ladki apna document proof (aadhar card) nhi bhejti. It's fake. As she only chats, no voice calls & video calls. Then Mai pucha kyu yeh log mere saath timepass kr rhe hai. She said to look like genuine. "FAKE IT TULL YOU MAKE IT" is the marketing techniques folloed currently in today's market. On 11th day I asked to send live location. She hasn't sent yet. This confirmation is that she is fake. The Gf experience she gave is some what memorable as I was blushing whole day while chatting. One more she chats 11:30 Am morning and says she is busy with meetings. Finally pyaar andha hota hai. Aur pyaar kliye ladka kuch bi krne kliye tayyar hai.

Want to move away from hookups to dating but everyone is just to hookup on dating apps. Really how should i kill time here? Doing gym for 4 hours currently but getting bored. Thinking of trying swimming.
