Currently working in a BPO but wants to do better. 

Is willing to learn/ start afresh but needs to work too. For last 2yrs, wife is taking care of everything including his parents

What can he study/upskill? Non technical background person but also willing to learn other things

Brief background:
1. Ran away from school(7th grade) under the pretext of a stranger helping me coach for cricket. Wanted to make my parents proud and ended up being kidnapped/child laboured for 1.5 years
2. Somehow completed schooling(hated school)
3. Completed my college ( Mass comm )with a year back but had a lot of fun to compensate for my school and then did odd customer service jobs.
4. Got caught in a fake legal case with case still in trial .
5. Have been trying to just compete with life post that and follow wherever my father could help me fit in. Did a contracter(construction) job,a restaurant and everything tanked. 
6.Great with people,no ego about the nature of work and am super eager to learn- I just don’t know where to start. 

I come from a decent family with some financial backing but have gained no computer skills so to say! 
Open to do my own thing or work as an employee. 

Please advise 🙏

However, ever since COVID, his shop went downhill and because he's also 40+, the prospects of job are also pretty slim. I'm inquiring here to check if anyone can help him get a job.

Or Should I work at unknown startups or companies (eg: early-stage startups or local companies) with higher pay? (x2 the salary here).

Note: For the above, the experience & designation are the same.

I almost mid 30s and been in Bangalore for 2.5 years. I believe I must build a steady second income in the next 6/7 years. Dont get me wrong , i like working - and intend to do that for as long as I can , but my new employment choices may decrease with time.
Yet , have no idea what I want to do.

I like technical work but am not insanely intelligent - just average.

Would want some feedback on how to motivate myself.

Hi everyone, need serious guidance and tips with regard to my career.

I want to switch to I.T/ Tech; however I am not sure if I'll be able to learn and grasp everything now. Also, I do not know which path/ domain to pursue.


Cloud computing, AWS, AZure, Devops, Data Science, Business Analyst, Data analyst, Salesforce, Front end, Back end, Testing etc. it's damn confusing and scary.

I have zero coding knowledge, although I completed my grads in I.T, wish I had tried harder back then.

Today I am living a lost life doing a call center type customer support job earning a meagre salary compared to my peers.

I really want to get some certification/course done and switch to I.T/ Tech role.  Please suggest something which doesn't involve a lot of coding. 

At present, I am out of job, I'm ready to dedicate next 6 months- 1 year to full-time learning.

Please help and guide me which path to take.

Should I resign now and upskill or Should I upskill,get another offer and then resign.

Folks I need your inputs please. I am a single parent to two kids and have a full time job which is basically the only financial source and now WFH is ending and my problem is:

1. With the role n responsibilities i am fully booked for office work and not able to take care of the kids or house like i want to

2. Even if i hire someone like nanny i still thinking of their safety and activities they r doing bcoz i want to engage them is teaching or making them learn spend time with them as they grow be there for them ( bcoz i know how lonely it is to have working parents) so i don’t want them left with nanny bcoz i believe money can be made again but their childhood will not return 

3. Even if i get a WFH role, my time, energy and thinking capabilities will be taken up by the job only again leaving me less energetic, time to care for my kids

4 Everyone is against me leaving the job bcoz that’s the only financial source I have but i want to shift my stream maybe join as a school admin or start a food business that i can handle without much of mental stress but the pay will be way less

So I am looking for something which gives me the time and mental peace to spend and raise my kids with a decent money to meet the needs. 

What can i do???  please tell me any other way out or a guaranteed income source along with being with my kids

Mistake I did by joining a small company with 12 lpa as I need money after my failed startup and COVID happened at the same time.

My brother is a 2016 mechanical graduate he took 6 years to prepare for different government jobs and finally landed at HDFC where he has to go through a 1 year mba program from Manipal University,
He completed his mba did his job for 1 year and realised he is not a good fit for a Sales job .
He then started his IT career and worked in an IT organisation for 1 year then got an offer from another hence resigned from the current one , the new organisation revoked offer as the job market started getting bad bad , he is working as an intern in a startup now , and looking for job simultaneously , he is getting selected in tech round but in HR round getting rejected because of this gap , please suggest how to overcome this issue and if there is any referal or job opportunity please do let me help with the same.
