Any engineers from Atlan here?
Wanted to learn about the engineering culture, WLB and your experiences there

I'm one of them who joined last year. Honest opinion:
Pros:
1. Already hyperscale and good revenue. Closing big companies like anything
2. You'll get to work on some cutting edge tech and 0 to 1 problems.
3. Leadership is hands-on. You'll see directors solving tech problems on a daily basis. They're not typical managers you see out there.
4. They're out there to win and don't shy from anything. ANYTHING.
5. One of the smartest lot of engineers you'll see. They weren't able to solve one of the issues so they hired the entire maintainer group of the open source project.
6. Insane level of problem solving.
Cons:
1. High performance pressure.
2. WLB is there but can get bad once in a while. Depends on team largely.
3. Company has high burn. Though they're at hyperscale mode now and making good revenue, just a point to keep in mind
4. Risk of being let go is decently high because of performance.
If you want to know anything specific, let me know

I don’t trust that company, they are one of those who would give you an assignment and then ghost you once the work is done.

Can confirm that they ghost after completing the assignment
To be fair those assignments are never used in the day to day business. They are based on products which are now discontinued.

Yeah, it’s a fairly good company compared to the Indian startup ecosystem. I saw the team grow, wlb can be bad at times.
Expect atleast one really rough quarter every year(>50 hours/week).
Although, you will learn a fair bit and get to execute on a lot of technical problems with high degree of ownership.
