Applying for off campus roles

I'm about to graduate in 2023 and I have a decent offer on campus, but I'm thinking of looking for better opportunities, mostly because of location reasons.

Should I apply in March/April, since I can't immediately join? Is the market conducive for entry level SDE roles? Any other tips?

Thanks!

The market is never bad for talented professionals. Never doubt your self-worth , it is you who is responsible for your career and financial goals.

Market is good for enggs. Start applying from t-3 mos, don’t stop the prep.

Good luck

Should I learn something specific like devops or backend, or just keep working on DSA?

If you are comfortable with DSA already, you can try to learn anything which interests you (web, backend, devops) for side projects, while not loosing grip on DSA
