Capgemini dilemma

I'm working as a BA in my current org. I'm on bench for more than 30 days and I have dropped my resignation but the HR is not approving my early release. I have an offer in hand and I need to join in another 15 days. In even agreed for notice period buyout but still that HR isn't allowing. It's really upsetting when we do not have any dependencies why do the HR ask to serve the complete notice period? Infact it is a loss for them to keep Billing me in bench. Please advice what can be done here in my situation

Hi peeps, I am at Infosys and applied to Oracle via referral. I told that my official notice period is 90 days but can be negotiated to 60 days. I cleared all rounds of interviews. HR called me and said offer roll out would take 1-2 weeks time. Meanwhile talk to your manager and get a confirmation for 60 days release. Now I am not sure what to do because there are 90% chances I won't get an early release (even though my project has not work). Also I am not sure if tell Oracle HR, that I cannot join early, would it change the chances of me getting offer. What am I assuming is she wanted to know whether I can get early release or not. If not, she might not send me offer. So I told her like "I can't communicate with my manager until I receive the offer as it would be a vague communication". But I am very confused what to do. Please help. I really want to leave Infosys.

Hey folks, I'm currently working for a US client and I am 100% billable to them if that information matters. According to the offer letter, the notice period is of 90 days but there's a buyback option where one can choose to pay and not serve the notice period. But from what I've heard, it's up to Capgemini to accept that buyback offer or not. So I've recently received an offer from a Singapore based startup and I told them that I can join in 30 days cuz if I hadn't, they wouldn't have even interviewed me in the first place. They're okay with buying back my 1 month and let me serve 30 days but I'm concerned what if Capgemini refuses to let me leave. What are my options here? Can I tell them that I'm leaving company due to some personal/health issues so I can get an early release. Do I need to involve a lawyer? Thoughts please. Thanks.

Hi, I have resigned from my organisation which has a 90 days notice period clause. I have another offer which I need to join in 60 days. My current employer is not at all agreeing for early release. Can i join a new company while being on notice period with my current employer? What are the implications?

Im from TCS , I got an offer letter today from citibank for the role of analyst My question is I'm currently on bench, so if I put my papers tomorrow , will I be asked to serve the 90 days notice period or will I be given an early release , They want me to join in 30 - 45 days . I got offer from Capgemini, joining date is 31st May. My last working day in current organization is also 31st May, I requested for next day 3rd June to Capgemini. It's hired for the HSBC client. I have put down my paper and now Capgemini Is saying I have to join to 31st May itself or the offer will be revoked. I tried to convince Cognizant my lwd was 3rd June so It preponed to 31st May still Capgemini HR is not picking up the phone and has no answer. What Should I do?

I resigned from capgemini, first week of April and was planning to get an early release. Did my work with utmost sincerity but when I asked them that I won’t be able to work after this date in May, the HR and the manager got so rude and started threatening. I don’t know how to get out of this shitty organisation but if I’m not able to leave on my desired date. I wanna make the remaining days hell for my manager and the BU. I wanna make them regret every second. I need some suggestions, what all things I can do? I’m on a billable client project and my manager begged me to not tell the client about my resignation. This 90 days NP is a trap guys. If they gonna fuck my opportunities, I wanna fuck them back. Happy to hear your thoughts

Hi @EY I am holding an offer from EY gds india for the position of Senior Consultant, they provided me joining date as 15 july Whereas my notice period end on 25 july. Have ask hr to revise the same he told me , try if you can Negotiate the notice period in current org ,if not then drop us An email after the month will revise the joining date . Is this normal? As I already resigned in my current organisation so little bit worried About this ,as HR person is hardly reply (as usual)

Hey all, How are you ? Well I am not fine, I am devastated and have no idea what to do with my life now. As I can't see any way out of this mess where I am right now. I finally got an offer from a company where I have to join in 1 month but my current company is not allowing me to leave before serving the notice period of 90 days. Despite being on the bench for the last 5 months and still no hope for getting allocated with a project. Firstly, my manager told me that they'll give an early release if I find another opportunity somewhere. But now since I have got the job offer from a different company he denied it. The HR of the company where I have to join after a month told me it's not possible to wait for 90 days and he'll revoke the offer if I am unable to join in a month. 😓 my life is a complete mess now. Don't know what to do. I am literally crying every hour, seeing my career getting ruined. It was my mistake joining such a company where employees are not at all valued. It was difficult for me to find another job as I didn't have proper experience. I worked on a project for 8 months only and the project got ramped down. Now I don't have any choice. I feel like I am trapped for life and there is no way out. Writing this post with watery eyes. Hoping to know if there is any solution to this trap.
