Never regret not joining, a company doesn't give a shit about the workers. Regret not getting a chance to work with wonderful people though.

Starting out, or early in the career, look out for growth opportunities, immediate manager and co-workers - it's important that you "vibe". Look for a cross cultural diverse team with a varying set of expertise.
