Hello Everyone , 

I am experienced professional with around 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security . 
I am currently working with TCS from past 3 years and have offer from KPMG KGS in Cyber security domain for Assistant Manager role. Is it worth to leave TCS and join KPMG or should I stay back with TCS only, for couple of years? 

KPMG is providing hike of around 31% only.

I will finish 2 years in may, I worked as business analyst for 1 year 8 months and took release in order to get into a React Js project, I gave rmg all my skills, he said he could not get me a project on those skills, I am rejecting all the support projects, he threatened me saying people are getting released from company if they are not taking projects,
(I cleared digital few months ago)


Cut to the present-
I am working on L1 Sap support, every day I feel like quitting the company, I might have applied for around 400 companies easily in the past 1 month I received call from 2 and neither had scheduled interview after knowing the notice period, If I dont take a decision now I wont be able to crack interviews later as days pass the experience I need to fake also builds,

My options:
1. I thought I will keep my papers after the current hike and revoke it if I do not get any offer
2. Fight with the current manager for release on the basis of the 2 year contract he recently told, which was not mentioned while I was taken into the project.
3. Do my learnings parallelly and when I get an offer I will leave the company


My current level of understanding in react is moderate, I have done few small projects and I helped one of my friends in his project for some time and I feel that I can crack interviews.

Please give your suggestions, its a life thats going to change if i stay here for 2 more yrs I will come out with 0 exposure and 4 yrs experience.

The company I used to work for recently shut down and I just received my first offer from a sizeable unicorn. 

I am being massively low-balled (20% cut). And on top of it, it's an exploding offer. 

I have a couple of interviews lined up (they start after May 28th) but at the moment, this is the only offer I have. 

What should I do?

1. Hard negotiate? Leave the offer on the table if it doesn't work out. 

2. Soft negotiate. Get the offer. Interview with other companies and try to get a better offer before joining (feels wrong)

Things to consider:

- I have 10+ months runway
- Last cash comp was 24L at 2.5YOE

I'm leaning towards 1.

I'm being lowballed. What should I do?

Suffering from success. 24L base for <2.5 yoe was already high. And that’s the reason why u have so much runway. Good luck on whatever u decide.

I'm a BCA 2024 graduate, I got an offer from TCS as Graduate Trainee for 2.8 LPA.

I'm thinking of joining it and upskilling myself and leaving after the probation period( 1 year).

As of now, I'm mid at coding, but I can pick it up fast, should I join TCS and upskill myself or should i spend the next 6 months on my skill then apply somewhere else?

Should I Join TCS ?

6 years of BPS and 4 years of IT experience( converted to C1) and also with 1 month of onsite experience as  MS SQL DBA & SSIS developer. Soon I'm going to get released from my current project. Looking for a new job outside TCS as I'm not satisfied with my salary.. 
Please suggest is it the right time to move from TCS? Should I resign and then search for a job? Can I take back my resignation later? 
Should I take a new project within this period of time? Or should I wait in TCS for some more time.. And upskill then try? If I get a promotion here, is there any option to get a good hike? I am really in dillema.. Please provide me some advice...
