Creatine - Go or no go?

I have had Creatine in the past and it has given great results while bulking up. But the doctors just don't recommend going for it. Whey also has a mixed opinion from doctors, although my online and primary research said it is good to go, as long as you are not going above 2 scoops a day, again something I try to restrict to. YMMV. What has been your experience and research around creatine? I am in my mid 30s, hence if age is also a factor, happy to know more.

any doctor who doesn't recommend it, just ask them to back it up with a research paper

it's a well researched product, use it without any hesitation, keep it 5g per day and need to drink enough water

3gm per day is safe. You can take whey and creatinine as long as your creatinine and kft are ok.

Creatine has a loading and unloading phase. It would be wise to take some break after your unloading phase, and then restart after sometime.
Keeping whey protein intake as 2 scoops everyday shouldn’t pose any health problem unless you are using fake whey supplements.
I am in my late 30s, and consuming 2 scoops of whey everyday. I had consumed creatine for 3 months straight, so have taken a break now. Will have the break for a month before I start consuming creatine again.

Hi, Being a vegetarian, have used creatine and it helps me to get stronger to lift weights. Creatine is not used for regular basis and i generally used in a cycle of 6-8 weeks & off for 4 weeks.

Now, For the doctor part, if you have any medical issue then probably don't recommend by doctor. So you can directly ask him the reason to not take creatine. I also putting former Indian cricket team and current RCB Strength & conditional coach SHANKAR BASU video link on creatine. https://youtu.be/ddVXpH5C5M0?si=lXVXcu0HybQsTkVo Hope it helps!
