What are your requirements? Atlas was a good option but its devalued badly. SBI Aurum & Regalia are good cards if you have average spends. 
  
 I got Amex as they are approving very quickly and got good referral benefits.

Did any of you try to close the axis Magnus card because benefits devaluation? Facing major issues where they want to charge me the annual fee even when I want to close this card which is practically worthless at this price. 
Also the customer care isn’t helping at all, they just keep telling they have asked concerned team to call but no one ever does. Any advice?

Amidst the complex offerings of credit cards, Amex Gold is a breath of fresh air and is my 2nd most utilized card after Axis Atlas.

Mind you, I've not used this card extensively but rather for a very specific purpose every month. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, the card offers 1000 bonus MR (Membership Reward) points upon completing 6 transactions of Rs. 1000 each within a calendar month.

How I have utilized the card is quite straightforward -

You earn 2 MR points for every Rs. 100 spent.

If you're buying a GV (gift voucher) through Amex GYFTR website with the Amex Gold, you get 5x the value, meaning10 MR points per Rs. 100 spent.

Buying 6 Amazon vouchers worth Rs. 1k each month to get (6*100 + 1000) = 1.6k MR points on a spending of Rs. 6k

Keeping the value of a MR point ~ Rs. 0.5, you get 13.3% as return reward which inarguably is a steal in the current credit card landscape

Repeating the same for 12 months, you get 19.2k MR points on a spend of Rs. 72k.

What can you get with 19200 MR points?

1. 6k Amazon GV + 1.2k MR points still left

2. 7k Shoppers Stop GV + 1.2k MR points still left

3. 9k Taj GV + 1.2k MR points still left

4. 19.2k Marriot Bonvoy points

5. 6.4k Club Vistara points

The underrated advantage which I've always felt with Amex is their backend and customer support system. You typically receive your bonus points smoothly within a day or two after fulfilling the offer. Even if you don't, there is the ever so reliable live chat support ready to assist with inquiries.

As the title suggests, this card is ideal for people who prefer not to delve into the complexities of maximizing card benefits. It has got a very straightforward use to earn a very decent reward.

I have Amazon pay ICICI, it started off well, I made all payments thru Amazon pay and good cash back but now while making payments on 3P apps, you can only use Amazon pay UPI

The other card I have has is Kotak Indigo and it’s shit

Hopefully you must be aware by now that they have revised their t&c for their cc i know a lot of friends who used to show off their Axis Flipkart card ( it was a good one though) but now, its all over it has became a paid card with reduced reward rates and what not.

There are certain cards which help you get free tickets(not entirely free though) 
  
 Most famous ones are Vistara cobranded cards. 
 Eg Sbi Vistara Prime Card 
  
 You get the card at annual fees of Rs3500 
 With this you get 1 Vistara Premium Economy Ticket which would easily cost 8-10K INR if you were to book by paying 
  
 Additionally you get more Premium Economy tickets each time you hit a spend milestone. 
  
 1.5lakh spends in a year - 1 more ticket 
 3lakh - another ticket 
 4.5 Lakh- another ticket 
 8 Lakh - another ticket 
  
 In addition you get 1 upgrade voucher using which you can upgrade your ticket from category X to category Y. This is via the Vistara Silver Tier Membership which is complimentary with the card. It also gives 5kg addition baggage allowance

1. HDFC Millenia (it just lost its lounge access ability)
2. HSBC Visa Platinum
3. Axis MyZone Rupay Card (Converted from Flipkart Axis Card for Credit on UPI access)
4. IDFC First Millenia
5. SimplyClick SBI VISA

But I want to replace all of these with one or two all rounder cards that gives me a wide variety of benefits (cashback, lounge, discounts, international payments, etc).

Rejected by Scapia and Fi, no reasons given
Saw a video on Niyo Global, saying they have huge downtimes which can be inconvenient
