Do you have some kind of Generational Wealth ?
Do you already have it or will you get it in the future? How has life been with it ? What are your future plans like ? Are you building it for your future family? How ? PS: for this context it's only about money/jewellery/real estate/assets etc.
Nope. No generational wealth. I'm saving and investing from scratch. Spent 60% of my savings 2 years ago in building a house in hometown where my parents & grandparents live now. They also spent their jewels and savings to build this house together.
I'm just saving and investing every month. No future plans. RTO seriously hindered my efforts for sure. And back in 2022 I got a job abroad. I had my travel all planned and it was a high paying job. But Covid second wave halted those plans. And the company revoked my offer.
Plus, my father's side relatives indirectly stole a lot of money from us. Worst part is my parents are still talking to them like nothing happened. But I'm never allowing those snakes to step foot in our house.
Long story short, no generational wealth for me. Earning, saving and investing from scratch. No plans for marriage yet but even if I get married I'll have to pay from my savings.

Does generational trauma count?
I'm filthy rich in that sector

I have some property from my parents that I would be sharing with my brother. Nothing too big, just one flat in a tier 2 city and some plot in outskirts.
I don't consider it mine though. I'll only get it after parents pass away (that too split with brother), don't even want to think about that time. Assets would be the least of my concerns at that point.
No plans for family yet. 30+ and not married, don't plan to marry anytime soon. So yeah, these assets are basically non existent for me and don't factor in my planning at all.
