Does 12th marks matter in Placement?

How??

Used as filtering criteria if everything else is same, atleast for the first job. So having good 12th % won't hurt

WITCH companies means??

Wipro, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, HCL. The below is a comment i saw some time back on glass door- "They hire a lot of mediocre, college-educated immigrants who think they’re getting a sweet deal by getting sponsored in a western country for a comfortable white collar job. In actuality, they do work that’s about as mind-numbing and tiring as coal mining, but on a laptop, and for ridiculously long hours.
