Jobs in Dubai don't give you a good annual hike as those in India do and many folks are stuck in the same salary for several years.

That said, your effective salary in India is 35 LPA, considering taxes while in Dubai it's 60 LPA.

Many large companies in Dubai also provide additional child education fees and to and fro fares to your native country as part of the comp package.

You can save 60-70% of this salary in Dubai, based on cost of living.

Just putting a perspective here

  • IIM Salary (realistic avg.) ~23-26 LPA CTC (2 years back)

  • Dubai based salary from same batch was around 40-45 LPA (around 15K -16K AED per month)

It comes to a Factor of around 70-75% if compared LPA to LPA

In your case also it comes around the same, so it seems fair only + you salary in hand be more due to tax savings in Dubai.

Was in same dilemma last year. 42LPA in India vs 26k+ insurance in UAE. Travelled to UAE and living a great life since 1.5 years. Got 10% hike this year as well. Go for it

Consider cost of living. Dubai per month rent and other expenses would cost you around 8-10k aed. Plus if you want to live a lavish life, make it 15k. Considering family of 3-4. You end up saving 15k i.e. 3lacs per month. You will have to do all your work by yourself. Cooking, cleaning etc.

Cooking, cleaning doesn’t cost more than 600 AED/month
