Early 20s advice
Turned 22 today. :) Saw a similar post on GV, men (in 20s) asking men (in 30s or so) to help their bros out with advice. Doing a female version of this, but keeping it open. Would love to learn from your experiences, mistakes to avoid, career advice, relationships, health, wealth, etc, whatever you've learnt most from.

Turn financially independent ASAP. Save money for the sake of saving, do not just save for the next thing: that vacation, dress, gadget etc. Having a "Fuck you" fund will prevent you from swallowing your dignity and pride. You won't need to please your parents, your boss, your boyfriend, your landlord etc by doing something you don't want to do.

I have seen girls in their early 20s getting married and feeling stuck, catering to their in laws and married lives.
Girls who get married upwards financially (husband's family more well off than yours) lose their voices post marriage, especially if living with in laws. Many of those girls have no idea during their marriage what they are getting into. So better to be financially independent first and then get married.

+1 to everything @majboormajdoor said.
P.S. I am a man but agreeing with above words as I firmly believe that woman must attain financial freedom to live their life on their own terms.
