Employee Management System

Hi folks, can you please provide recommendations for payroll softwares (have checked out razorpay, zoho and GreyHr online, would be nice to get reviews from folks who have used them) with pro's and cons and ease of scale later( current team is ~25). Would be nice to have integrated tax filings, etc.

Curious to know who else have biometric or online based attendance tracking in the org. For a stealth startup of 20-30 guys, the CEO/HR seems to have introduced biometric based attendance tracking. Unless you’ve logged 9 hours in office. You’ll not get get any attendance. Am I alone in calling this out as a dumb fuck move for a company of such size? Feel freee to add your org name with the kind of attendance tracking that you have.

I always had this question like how come company manages payment of the vendors, salaries of staff, petty expenses, insurances, electricity bills, rent, etc. Most companies expands at so rapid level and become global at times. So the payment procedure of all of it always intrigued me. If anyone among you know how big corporates / conglomerates functions when it comes to payment/ withdrawals.. all ears to you! I am genuinely curious to know as one single person on whose account the bank account is opened can’t manage all of it.

So I was working wfh since past year and recently shifted to a project after a promotion, it’s a nice project and something I was looking forward to work with, but now my reporting manager says that you have to clock atleast 8 hours daily at this tracking software ( Nippon Buddy ). And I’ve to report to office 12 days a month, that’s okay but this 8 hours capture time is kinda nuts. Do you guys have these kinda policy as well or is it just at service based companies ?

Joined a product based Company two months back. Company culture is great. decent pay. good policies like insurance, cab, leaves etc. But in the department I'm working at, the work is very Toxic. It's minimum 9 hours everyday (continuous stretch). and what's surprising is stress and hectic work is normalised here. No one talks about. no signs of change as well.
