So most of the byjus folks and a few Paytm Folks recently joined Nielsen Media. And I will say there is a guy who has worked with Flipkart, Swiggy and Byjus is scheduling a daily call with 60+ people. So this guy along with his subordinates bragged about their Byjus experience and Paytm experience. Also these guys joke about the existing senior leaderships and planning to lay them off. The worst thing is that these guys are doing micro management 101. Staying here just because of my manager as he is very nice and he belongs to the existing senior leadership. 

So anyone who is reading this if you are from Flipkart/Oracle/Swiggy/Byjus tell me how was this guy(let's call him Mr SJ) in your organization.

Have been a sales guy from more than 4 years now. During the bull market, the perks were amazing. 

Shit has hit the fan rn, most of the folks aren’t getting full and final settlement.  Appraisals and increments are on hold indefinitely. Haven’t received arrears from a long time, even after multiple commitments from the management.  Haven’t received sales incentive from last 3 months.

This is a result of an increasingly toxic work culture where performers are penalized with more work while slackers make merry. This culture is driven from the top with current senior leadership who haven't left the firm have survived by the virtue of sycophancy.

Instead of firing people, they are being asked to resign so that the company is not in news.

I've personally seen this in co's rev teams, a new CTO has been hired from within Paytm. Employees are given 'negative ratings' in appraisal, which the CEO called 'an HR experiment'.

I'm working at payU payment from 2 years and from last two years they are giving the increments in single digit, is the market is bad ? Last year I got 4% increment I was informed by my manager that company is not doing good same has happened this year again I got only 4% incriment. In my team I have seen people are getting 8-10% also and in other team few have got 12% also, however I feel even 12% is the highest still it seems too low. is this is happening everywhere or it's just payU?

Hi, I have been offered a PM role at Paytm. My overall experience is 6 yrs with >2 yrs in Product. The CTC they are offering is 40 LPA  which is a 30% hike. In current company culture and wlb is good. If anyone can suggest, Is it lower/higher than market standards and how's the culture and wlb in Paytm Product team?

Hiring for a bunch of roles for an early stage startup. Salaries of people who have been laid off is through the roof

2-3 years experience asking for 30-40l and while we chose not to judge the experience and spoke to a few of them, most of them are not even worth half of the pay. 

Many are jobless since last 2-3 months and none of them are willing to take a paycut of even 5-6L and are willing to stay jobless ( probably have a ton of savings )

Market correction is necessary.

Roles : PM, software engineers, generalists

What's wrong with salaries

If you are paid less, don’t extrapolate it on others. If they are willing to wait, let them. You should keep praying for “corrections”.

Paytm layoffs have already begun two weeks ago and come as Paytm's Payment Bank has been barred by RBI from conducting several businesses.

Also heard that they are recently setting up their business in India.
