Given the number of surveys and polla that people ask, GV should start charging for surveys and FG studies.
Incentive to users - You can say the meanest / vilest stuff without being censored (for one week / three days/...)

Over the last month or so we announced two massive products that are as big as Grapevine itself:   1. Private Company groups with verification 
2. Salaries on Grapevine 

Thousands of you have since adopted these products, but most importantly, you gave us great feedback and we are working on making these more helpful

Here’s what you can expect from Grapevine in the next few weeks: 

1. Direct Messaging on Grapevine (yes yes, I know at this point everyone seems to be giving up on this xD)
2. V2 Update to Salaries - making it more useful with more data points 
3. Launching verification and company private groups for 100 companies (we will keep doing this where we have enough people)
4. A better feed: We are hoping to show you less of posts you’ve already seen (A common complain with Grapevine)
5. A new approach to communities on Grapevine
6. A feature buff to Polls - making them even more insights rich
7. Better Link type posts - currently links on Grapevine are broken
8. Grapes V2: People will get grapes for creating ‘Chatty posts’ and ‘Deep Polls’ over and above the current definition of Grapes that is just focused on the number of likes you get
9. An Official Grapevine mixer (details soon!)

It has been a while since I did a thread, so busy with work nowadays. 

My answer would be Grapevine. Never experienced something like Grapevine in a really long time. Especially, considering that it has only been their first year. 

What is your answer?

I’ll go first, do share your thoughts. 

- More ‘grapes’ use case? (Debatable)
- Actual spacing between lines for separate paragraphs, new statements in comments. 
- The ‘replies notifications’ to your post should redirect to the comment not to the post, we end up to have to scroll to find the same comment.
- The ability to re - edit the ‘community tab’ on a post when selected wrong.

What features do you want on Grapevine? Discuss.

I feel that when you open up to people about your traumas and insecurities, people are only going to use it against you in an arguement.

While you might argue that not everyone does that, and I would be the first one to agree to that. But you somehow stop trusting everyone, even your shadow , when your favorite people become your most bitter life lessons. 

The one who feels emotions always ends up suffering more. In the hindsight, it feels as if being a bare minimum "good human" is a curse. 

However,

I have been using grapevine to vent out and connect with strangers and so far I have only met supportive and empathetic human beings (most of them). 

Despite being covered in the sheild of anonymity, most people have only been respectful and kind. 

This proves that we, as humans , are only meant to love each other. Hatred is futile. Empathy is inherent while hatred is "cultivated".

I hope grapevine founders dont stumble across this post else theyll start charging premium fees when they realize how highly people speak of this platform lol

I really like grapevine but I mostly surf it on the web, so I just wanted to share few points that would enhance the experience.

1. Dark mode 
2. Make the post open in new tab( i can't see "open in a new tab" option on right click)
3. Get rid of the get the grapevine component on the right side, it can take a small space on the top right or bottom right, it doesn't have to take so much space IMO.

These are all the changes that I would like to see, i just felt it'd be more visible here rather than on google play review

When I read GV, I find interesting posts but often there are not enough comments on it. I recently found out that you can "follow" posts. Please give this feature more prominence (or at least test it out) so that people can keep following interesting discussions. It will help with your engagement metrics as well when people come back from Push Notifications.

What is Grapevine's monetizing route? So far, I didn't see any buy button in Grapevine. Would they be going the ad route or Blind route?

Seems like they are currently focused on acquisition and will slowly charge people to keep their identities hidden.

What could be other ways they could monetize?

Hey @Micheal_Scott , I know that you have been working a lot to make Grapevine better and would have multiple things and features planned out for this year. I just felt that if you want extra engineering support from any of us, I bet many of us would be willing to contribute to Grapevine Repos without pay to make the experience better.
I know it takes time to rollout features and improve user engagement and scale, but just a vote of thanks for making this family.
Also we are just one post away if ever you need public contribution.
PS I might hate you for but I like Grapevine 🫶

Collected 1000 grapes on grapevine at this independence day , dunno what to do with these 🙂
I think in order to improve customer loyalty , grapevine should start giving  vouchers for purchase at eCommerce platforms or by partnering with multiple growing startups in different domain at the mark of 1k  ,2k , 5k . These vouchers can have discount coupons which is to be redeem within 15-20 days .
