Feel Anxious about going to work everyday
After 7-8 months at my new job, I've been increasingly anxious, affecting my sleep. I'm constantly worried about making mistakes, even when they're not my fault. Recently, my manager rebuked me for errors that weren't mine, and since then, ge has just gone silent with me and he has just sideined me. The situation is making work and life challenging, with random outbursts adding to the stress. Company culture is also very toxic after layoffs and everyone just keeps on blaming each other. How to handle this situation?
Relax. It is okay. Dont think about work too much and cultivate a life outside of work.

You are anxious because there is probably perceived significant gap between what your skills are and what the job demands. Usually when we job switch we tend to pick new jobs where we already know how to deliver a significant part of the deliverables and 20%ish is new and got to learn on the job. When this is disproportionate like 40/60 the first person to know about it is yourself. That puts you in a cycle of anxiety and if you are bit low on self esteem then there is a fear to get ridiculed. There is no excuse for missing hard skills. Let’s imagine you are hired as an experience data analyst but you dnt know how to run sql queries. Beyond a point people will notice that you are unproductive. But the point is — you are simply ramping up in your career.. barely 2 years. There are two things you need to know — a) intention and b) competence.
You need to have both to succeed in that priority. Currently there is no cure to your anxiety unless you learn to do your job well. Give yourself a soft deadline to get build intention and get competent. Say 6 months. If you still feel you are having anxiety then better to get out that environment and choose a place where job related responsibilities is not a concern.. basically matches your skills.

Yes because it’s very common feeling. And honestly if we can we should address it every single time.
