Feeling LOST
I've been working for just over a year after graduating from college. I'm pretty happy with my prof life but I feel a sense of being lost and purposeless. After wrapping up things related to work I don't feel the motivation to do anything else. I've been staying in a new city where I hardly know anyone. What do I do?
Here are your options:
Get a girlfriend
Get a good social group
Buy a console
Get stoned every night post work
I combine 3 and 4 and it works.

@MarkZuckerberg how to get a gf if dating apps don't work for someone? Ain't receiving matches only 1-2 per month that too if I am actively using.

Don't listen to these dumbdumbs. Spend time with yourself. Figure out why you are feeling like this, what you want, is what you want A good thing, why do you want those things.
Ask ask verify ask
If you don't put a full stop right now you ll end you like them ( numb, escape routes, dragging through life, dies unfulfilled)
Enough help is available. First initiate the process within

Ah .. the culture shock. Been there too. Nothing can be done.. after another 1 or 2 years you will get used to it. You need to become numb. That will happen only with time. The cheapest alternative is to apply for jobs and attend interviews. Ask for ridiculous hike. They will say no and if anybody agrees then you can evaluate. Or ask for normal hikes get the offer letter and do not turn up on the joining date.

My friend used to keep cracking interviews and would never join. This was his way of escape. Just get someone to spend time with who aligns with you in some way. Will help you out a lot.
