Have you ever experienced a situation where you applied for a job on a company that is a hiring platform, but instead of receiving a response regarding that job, you start receiving job openings from the platform itself? 
It appears that they create a fictitious role and utilize it to send job notifications from companies hiring through their platform.

I have seen multiple companies posting vacancy on LinkedIn and Naukri but I see no post of any candidate getting hired or sharing onboarding. 

Are they posting this to avoid panic in open market ?
Especially in the field of Data. 

Thoughts ?

Received an AI interview mail from Mercor.
(Check screenshot)

I remember they were showing multiple job postings on LinkedIn a while back (with compensations like 15-40 LPA).

Turns out that they are not exactly hiring for their own company but are extending the profile to other companies using their own hiring platform (which was a bit weird since the job description did not mention anything like this and it was easy apply).

I have been seeing a trend from different startups that post job openings which lead to either signing up on their own hiring platform or collecting user data in some way.
This feels similar.

Does this actually lead somewhere or are they just using applicants to train their model?

What do you guys think?

Pretty unusual for me, since I've always interacted with HRs primarily in the initial stages. 

Is this the start of a new trend or is there anything else going on? Just wanted to understand the thought process behind these things

Michael Page, a recruiting agency, has a lot of open job postings always. But I have never got a reply back with details of the roles even for roles that I know I am well qualified for.

This is after I apply through their portal and email the hiring manager.

Has anyone else experienced this? Or what could be going wrong?

I have been applying jobs through LinkedIn recently and 100% of them returned back as rejection with the same template message. That made me wonder that recruiters might be pressing a "Reject" button and LinkedIn would send me the subsequent mail. So my question.. 
Can anyone who got hired via "Easy Apply" tell their story or any recruitor tell what's the best way to catch attention?

Hello guys; I have been actively applying to job/internship openings on LinkedIn (It might have reached 50+ by now) but what I get is either they ghost me, or reject me.

There's only 1 or 2 companies where I actually received a response but even they ghosted me after submitting practice assignment. Also; the rejection mail of each company is the same so I am starting to think that most of the jobs are automated by bots or something.


Can anyone suggest an active job search platform where employers post the role with the intention to hire employees, even look through the candidate's resume and respond instead of ghosting?

Dummy Jobs ?!!

I have been seeing their different types of PM roles job opening for last 1 year now. Are they really not able to close these roles. Each posting has almost 100+ application and still they are not able to close these roles.

Every month of 2 these roles gets reopened and still no body is getting hired.

I have heard somewhere that companies are circling job postings in order to increase LinkedIN followers, is that the case here? 

Any thoughts?

I am seeing lots of jobs post on LinkedIn from various companies and when u apply to them there is no call back or any update from them. I am now like confused if those post are even true or not? Anyone face/observe this

Lately I have been getting a lot of DMs from TA from various companies on linkedin. They would start the conversation with something like “We are really impressed with your profile and work you are doing …” 
Then they proceed to ask for contact details and resume and then they just vanish out of thin air. 

It’s not that I have a bad resume because whenever I start to actively look for a job I get interview calls right away from actual HRs who are hiring.

Is this some shady practice that TA people have been following to build their roster/database for different job roles that they frequently hire for.

Corporate catfishing? More companies are posting realistic job listings that don't exist. 

Companies doing this are trying to trick employees into thinking the company is growing and that they are hiring more workers to alleviate their workload. This is not only manipulative, but immoral. 

If you want to increase productivity and alleviate stress in your office, start by showing appreciation for your employees and encouraging them.

Share some companies you might know that have been doing this.

I'm a designer with around 5 years of experience and I'm at a bad stage in my company because I'm currently remote and they are forcing us to relocate. Those who are denying are being asked to resign.

Because of this I was applying to multiple jobs on LinkedIn and there are hardly any good openings and half of the openings seem fake as if they are farming resumes. I was reading about this one and apparently companies do this because they want to show they're hiring but in actuality they aren't.

I even applied to a couple of openings on a Sunday morning at 6 am and I got a rejection within an hour lol. Don't tell me recruiters are working on a Sunday morning.

Idk if I'm the only one facing this issue.

If anybody has any openings in their company it would be great if you can refer me.

if you search for jobs, top 20 results are promoted job ads from top startups and service company. Its like every company knows to play the game at linkedin now. Keep a 2-3 fake jobs to let aware market that they are hiring but they are actually not. 

even machine learning engineer is get 10 promoted jobs with 100 applicants even for that.

what is your experience on linkedin related to job nowadays.?

There are lot of communities and individuals on LinkedIn and Instagram who are postings job opportunities from various companies. Only few links will redirect to actual company careers pages mostly it will be redirected to google form where they collect user data or cuvette platform or a wordpress website with lot of ads. It’s so irritating for job hunters to find the actual openings. 

Whats is your view on this?

In recent times, I've observed a concerning trend where numerous individuals, including some HR professionals, are posting job listings. Many of these posts require users to log in to their web apps, ostensibly to collect email addresses for advertising purposes and often demand an excessive amount of personal details. Unfortunately, a significant portion of these job openings never materialize, leaving job seekers frustrated. Moreover, HR professionals sometimes request comments like "yes" and "interested" without providing a direct link to apply, promising to "get back to you soon" but rarely doing so.

LinkedIn's feed also appears inundated with content geared towards gaining followers rather than delivering valuable insights. While there is a demand for followers, it often comes at the expense of substantial content. It's a situation that can be disheartening for those seeking genuine job opportunities and meaningful engagement on professional platforms.

Have you noticed this as well, or is it just me? I'd appreciate hearing your perspective on the matter.
