Getting ghosted by Talent Acquisition folks on Linkedin

I recently enabled open to work on my profile, Got immediate responses from recruiters, They show so much interest saying “ Your skill set, experience is amazing and this is exactly what we are looking at our company, please share your resume and we can take this forward “ I get all hyped and share my resume, and I get no response back. Almost 5-10 recruiters have ghosted me like this. I follow up multiple times asking for any update. And I get no response. They don’t even say “ I have forwarded your profile to the HM and we’ll get back to you “ Some of my friends are also facing the same issue. I’m a product designer with 11+ yoe, if anyone here can refer me it will be really helpful 🙏

Lately recruiters have started messaging me on linkedin with opportunities in their company when I ask for JD they never reply back, is this normal behaviour? Am I asking too much?

If any recruiter sees this, what exactly happens when one applies through Linkedin?

Need answer to just one thing. Do you guys intentionally ghost candidates or do you guys intentionally ghost candidates? 🙂

How common is it for recruiters to ghost you after multiple rounds of interviews and assessments (over months) by blocking your email so you can't even send follow up emails? The way I see it - they don't lose much since they have thousands to choose from an applicant pool, but it certainly undermines the effort made my candidates to a huge degree. Or is that common courtesy, acknowledgement and in general being decent human seem rathee utopian concepts in this day and age? Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Ghosting by HR is becoming increasingly common. This is not only for junior or middle level roles but also senior level. Talk to a prospective candidate and go to sleep. One more round and then go missing again. Repeat the process till the person starts to question the culture. And ya, when you wake up, expect the candidate to leave everything and respond..else, you will go ahead and open the position. Anyone else facing this in startups?

I had a recent experience of having an interview with this MNC and getting negotiation calls,and I was willing to settle near their offer, just because the office was very nearby and then suddenly I got ghosted. I was not even actively looking for a job and 6 rounds of conversation and a month later I got ghosted. Why HR's don't give a black and white answers.

This is a question to the onebanc employees, are you guys retarded or what? So, They have a job posting on LinkedIn for a particular role which is vacant from 5 freaking months ( and it's just not there for 5 months, they remove it and repost every 3-5 days). for 2 months I tried applying direct and then I connected with the peeps working there and asked for referrals to which all of them replied "apply directly to the job posting" ok understandable but then when I tried connecting with the job poster and the talent acquisition people they also have the same reply "apply directly", I know am not entitled but now when you have seen the message, just forward it to the manager, and end this with a rejection. This is just a rant, i know companies don't owe anyone and vice versa.
