Financial struggle - Point of survival

I am not sure if I am earning less or the expenses and businesses are down at a global level generally. But it has come to a point where savings have dried out and the amount of loans have increased just to survive through each month. I mainly come from a middle class background and I don’t know if it’s just me or there’s anyone in a similar situation
