How much runway do you have ?
If you resign today without any job or any plan, how many months/years would be able to survive at the current burn rate (monthly expenses) ?

I don’t have much net worth, just that my monthly spending is less- about 30k/month.
My breakup is approx 60% in equity (stocks+MF), and 40% in debt (fd+pf).
Nothing much -
Few lakhs(5-6) - stocks, mutual funds
Moderate lakhs(30) - ESOPs
Few lakhs(5-6) - savings (emergency fund)
Few lakhs - in Life Insurance

Probably will last 2years max considering no major hospital expenses for elderly parent's. Now dependent on companies group Health insurance. Need to buy a separate health and term insurance for myself. If I'm planning to quit.
I am just living on my month salary 😂
No savings as of now...should start doing I know but not able to save anything at all.
Now like 10 days are remaining and I ran out of cash

My month on month expense is different, very difficult to ascertain how long. Should hopefully last me a year, if my impulses don't take over.
Expenses? Almost 4-5 years
If we consider my expense is equal to mu current month salary then almost 6 months

Doesn't runway mean your emergency fund? i.e.apart from your investments and assets, the money you've actually kept away in case of joblessness?
