Try establishing ci and cd pipelines with optimization, reducing heap size to reduce build and start times using debuggers.. it will be fun.
Mostly platform engineers do this but yeah will ask from lead to provide some of this work. Other problem I see is that for the last 6 months I have been only getting design projects that is to convert figma to UI.
How do go about reducing heap size, can you give us some pointers?
That’s why developers get paid so much. They do mundane work nobody wants to do.
Try building side projects, front end has really good complex problems to solve
