Bhubaneswar, India - July 27, 2024 In a dramatic incident that could have led to a major disaster, four trains were seen arriving on the same track at a railway station in eastern India's Odisha. The incident took place at Lingaraj station in Bhubaneswar city on July 27. Visuals showed one train already on the track with three more slowly approaching behind it.

- Early Tuesday, the Howrah-Mumbai Express derailed near Jharkhand's Chakradharpur, injuring 5-6 passengers. The incident occurred at 3:43 am between Rajkharswan West Outer and Barabamboo.
- Initial reports indicate 18 coaches derailed, including 16 passenger coaches, one power car, and one pantry car. The derailment was caused by a goods train coming from the opposite direction.
- All injured passengers received first aid, and helpline numbers have been issued for Mumbai, Nagpur, and Bhusawal. Passengers are being transported to Chakradharpur by bus.
- This incident follows several recent derailments, including the Dibrugarh Express in Uttar Pradesh, which resulted in four deaths and 20 injuries, and a goods train derailment near Amroha.
- Railway officials are not terming the incident as major, and further investigation is underway.

There goes another railway tragedy happened within same year. Is railways ministry or govt sleeping. Is there no value of life remains in this country. Bas 5 lakh muawaja dekar govt free hojayegi. No investigation will happen further. 
Where is this country heading? Day by day I am feeling ashamed of my country. 
Politicians are there just to fill their pockets. I am telling you no one will take responsibility of this incidents.

Road p chalo to Porsche uda deti hai.
Train s chalo to train hi palat jaati hai.
Airplane s chalo to pocket Khali hojati hai.

I've to transfer a bike from my hometown to Bangalore. 
Ive heard that trains are not very safe for this. They don't handle the items with care and chances of damage are very high. 
Is it true ?
I see 4 categories for this on the railway website: rajdhani , premier, standard, luggage.
If I choose the most costly one will that make any difference ???

I am planning to settle down in one particular city in the next  3 to 5 years. I am currently evaluating Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune. 
From long term perspective ( for next 20 to 30 years) Which city will offer better job prospects ( IT/Software Development/Product Management/Strategy related jobs) along with a decent life style supported by satisfactory amenities like  Gated housing options which are not super expensive, Good schooling options for kids, Decent commuting facilities like Metro, wide roads etc. 
Interested to hear feedback from folks who went through or going through this dilemma.
