I am currently working with a start-up from the last 2 years as a web developer angular+ dot net. My current CTC is 5LPA. Waiting for appraisal form last 1 year, and management has cleared that we do not expect a magical raise this time, I will hardly get 25 - 30% this time. Should I wait for 1 more year here( product is good and work culture is best). Or look for another opportunity. How much salary should I expect from outside? Hey everyone, seeking some career advice here. So, I've been grinding away in the risk domain at a big financial services MNC for about 2 years now ( have total experience of 5 years from similar companies), pulling in around 30 lakhs INR. Recently, I got a bit curious about what else is out there, so I started poking around. But here's the kicker – every HR rep I chat with says my pay is cool, but they're eyeing up MBA grads from fancy schools for the budget I'm looking out for. 

Thing is, I know my stuff. I've snagged awards, jumped up the ladder faster. But now I'm starting to sweat about whether my lack of an MBA is gonna bite me in the rear down the line. Plus, with all the chatter about layoffs, I'm low-key freaking about whether my gig here is as solid as I thought. 

Any advice on how to navigate this maze? Should I bite the bullet and go for that MBA, or stick to my guns and trust that my track record speaks for itself? Appreciate any wisdom y'all can drop!

Hi All, I am writing this post just for sake of knowledge. Currently I am working in Oracle with 3.8 YOE as QA. 

During interview calls, the most difficult question i feel to answer is “What is your expected salary?”
Sometimes i ask for 100% and in some cases a self doubt arises that whether this much asking is correct or not.

I am working remotely at a SaaS company for 4+ years now. I started working since my final year of engineering. I joined here as a software engineering intern when the product was really new and booming. I have gotten bored of my work now, especially since I have been working from home all the time. I have very little social life. And I am getting fixed salary of about $1400 each month. I am thinking of switching to any Indian startup because I am not happy with my job being so monotonous and less pay at this level of experience. What should be the approach to crack the interviews? I have done DSA practice during my college days, but didn't crack any interviews with it. I am a full stack web developer but it doesn't excite me anymore and I want to stick to backend roles. And is it possible to crack an interview with for 30-40 LPA at this stage? Or do I have to climb up a salary ladder for a couple of years?

I have been applying for jobs, and every time I get a recruiter call, they ask me for my current СТС.
Is it ok to tell them the current CTC at the very first call?
Asking this because, in my current company, the budget was more but they gave me hike based on my previous CTC, because I had disclosed my current CTC before.
Also, how do I tackle the question how much is my expected salary? Is it a good idea to tell them right away? 
Asking this because what if they have bigger budget but still end up paying how much I asked for. 

PS: I am new to all of this, please help me how to tackle these questions.
