I am currently having 17 years experience mostly as manual tester with short experience in automation. My current CTC is 16 LPA. Not getting any calls & stuck in the organisation. Not sure what to do with so many years of experience. I was stuck with Healthcare Projects where they don’t let people go out of Healthcare. No Upskill nothing working long hours. Please guide me.

I'm an Automation tester with 6.5 years of experience and 23.5 LPA and am looking to change my job, but can't see companies offering more than that in Bangalore currently. Any advice or suggestions?

In 3 months, I will get 4 years experience in software testing field. Previously I worked in a company for 1.5 years as a software tester and in last 2.3 years I'm working in Infosys. I have knowledge in java, python, selenium, testng and soapui testing. I also worked as a manual testing. I worked in JIRA and agile methodology. I'm good at manual testing too.. My current CTC is 5.65lpa. Shall I expect 12lpa in this current market as a 4 year experienced software tester? Is it possible? Let me know if any company can give 12lpa for 4 year experienced software tester.

Am i elligible to get High salary?

Need referral for QA tester

Guys,
I have 8 years of IT experience out of which , 2.5 in azure. I got a call from Capegemni HR , saying there's an azure opening, asked for my current and expected CTC. I said the current is 7 LPA and expected is 20 LPA. It's a hybrid role with 3 days working from the office. She said it is not possible, Max they can give is 10-13. I am in Kerala,and have a baby under 1. I have to relocate if I get it. I don't think it is fair salary.

Is it ok if we don't tell when they're asking for our current salary based on which they will give max 100% if we perform exceptionally in the interview.

Or how can I deal this?

I am entering my second year with Cognizant. I joined as a fresher and now want to explore opportunities for switching companies. I have no idea which company would be better after two years in automation testing. Any suggestions or advice?

I joined TCS 3yrs ago and since then I couldn't switch. I am planning since last year March but actually not able to work on it. Even I couldn't apply actively. Currently I am involved in a role which has nothing to do with development and I feel bit less confident. So I want to know why it is so hard to leave? Does everyone feel same? Is this ecosystem somewhat responsible for this?

  Job hopping is one of the fewest ways to attain some economic mobility in this shithole country.   
  For a corporation understand that you're a fungible resource. They'll throw you under the bus once you've outlived their utility. Always lookout for your own personal interest first.

I am a software associate from capgemini. I was working on infrastructure and operation management project from last 2 years. But, now I feel that 3 LPA salary is not at all possible to survive in Bangalore or anywhere. I tried to talk to my manager but he talked to me in so rude way about my appraisal way that the project budget is too low. So I resigned from capgemini and now I am serving notice period and actively looking for new opportunities . I have tried few companies  it not getting any positive reply. I was working on Infrastructure and operations domain so please if you have any job openings in your organisation. Please refer me or give me any advise where I can join. I4 years of SDET working at 25-30lpa as well as 5-6 years of QAs working at 15-20lpa bracket.

Is there a way to come out of current company, since notice period is 90 days, not able to get job offers easily(almost nill), every recruiter is expecting joining within 30 days. Hi Folks! I am currently working as a manual tester. Its been 4 years I am doing this and now I have no mood to continue as a manual tester.

Can u guys suggest ke how can i change my career path from a manual to automation tester? Which course will be helpful for this? Because I tried contacting few institutions such as Crio.Do, Star Agile but the issue is they are either asking for a high course fee or their rating is very poor.

Please suggest a correct way so that i can transform my career. Thanks!
