I was previously in TCS. I resigned and prepared and gave interviews for the last 15 days of my notice period and got two offers. I will suggest having an emergency fund for the next 3-4 months or you can extend it up to 6 months then resign and prepare. You will get interviews mostly in last month

I recently got an offer and the notice period over there is 60 days. In my past companies it was 30 days everywhere. Just wanted to know your opinion.

First company shutdown it's operation and gave work to current company. Now new company took some of the employees from old company. I got selected in that. And I joined given that I didn't had other offer. 

But now after 1 month this company doesn't feel good. 

Desperately wanting to change the company as work is bad (although working on same work which I used to do, tech is very old, VB. Net) but not feeling enough prepared. And the current time is horrible. 

My company has 90 Days notice period. What to do? Recruiter on this spot reject direct after hearing 90 Days.

I have 2.5 years of experience in software testing in selenium with java. I have been trying to switch for the last 2 months but I am not getting any calls, I am applying to different posts on naukari and LinkedIn. But still not getting any calls. Is this happening because my current organisation has 90 days of notice period?

Hi all, It’s been more than 4 years in TCS. I have been trying to switch for last 6 months. Received some calls from HRs but as soon as they hear TCS and NOT ON NOTICE PERIOD, their response immediately changes. They will tell you that they will share interview details but they won’t.
I have also tried lying about notice period with different different excuse but still they would not believe it.
Now i am thinking about putting in my papers and continue looking. Maybe reducing the notice period will help but it looks a big risk in current scenario.

Saying from personal experience, I have noticed that 10/10 times I am getting rejected if I say notice period to be 90 days during a Job Switch.
All companies are looking for 30/60 days joiners.
Even though they themselves have 90 days notice period in their organisation.
But let us say if you say to HR that my notice period is 60 days and then get selected, how to manage? How to securely transition from one organisation to another.

I can't take risk of resign because of financial issues right now.
