I joined EY recently 4month ago and tagged to engagement from last 2 month. They hired me for a Java selenium skill set and I tagged to typescript webdriverIO skill set. 

Initially I feel it will be good and new learning. But I don’t have enough time for learn and get understand their existing framework. In parallel they are expecting more automation test cases completion. 

Here I have pressured and I couldn’t be able to handle it and thinking get release from engagement. 

So can you advise how can I continue or how can I ask release from engagement.

I am 24 grad ( btech ) . Joined a company as a intern in 4th year . 9 months they gave training as etl pipeline and sql ( not Interesting but not bad also ). So after internship , I got converted but I then transfered to qa team of a different project. They told That I need to do manual testing for 6 months. I asked the reason , they told that for now they couldn't get approval for a concrete role for me for data engineering. I feel like resigning but I don't have offer . What to do ?

I am newly allocated to a project and it's just 2 weeks happened.There is too much pressure expectations are high than my experience and also i did not like the way they treat the people and the language they are using against me.l want to release from the project..Is there will be any impact for getting into another projects If I ask for release from the project.Need suggestions

Need guidance from fellow experienced folks or who have done this before. What are the proper reasons to ask for a release.

My reasons:
- work is too hectic and repetitive and no growth technically (mostly support and maintenance once in a blue moon some dev sort of work).

- Client is mismanaged they dont know what work is important and come with multiple deadlines even before prod day.

- No proper KT is given when assigning a new task.

- In the name of agile its kanban board and not jira (given a sprint task to be finished in a day or two and new tickets pulled in between).

- Manager swaps ticket often in between sprint.

- Manager is mostly away even on standups or client calls so we manage faking they worked and we manage in behind scenes.

- Due to too many upcoming requests in tight deadlines from last 3 months wlb is miserable and have worked two weeks without an off once and night shift charges given is 220 only per day.

Now I need your all guidance on what can be a better approach or how to improvise

Asking manager a release?

I am scheduled to join EY in 15 days, but my current company manager initially agreed to an early release. However, due to recent project-related changes, he now requires me to serve an additional month here. I understand EY's expectation for me to join promptly and would like to discuss how we can navigate this situation. will they extend this much time?

Hey All,

I’m going to have meeting with HR regarding  PIP next week. There I need to take decision whether I have to resign and take 4 months pay or whether I have to go with PIP plan and perform certain tasks for 2 months what they will decide and evaluate.
I’m a bit confused what option should I need to opt.
I’m looking for jobs but didn’t receive any calls till now but I’m actively applying.

From many people I’ve heard that in PIP they are giving hard to achieve tasks and pressurising to resign else if got fail in PIP, they will terminate and will give termination letter instead of relieving letter.
What option should I opt , considering all the possibilities and current market situation?

P.S - I have 2 YOE in front end development 

Suggestions from experience would be highly appreciated and can help me.

Hi, 24M working in one of the WITCH having 1.3 years of experience total. I've graduated from Tier-3 engineering college in 2021. Last year joined through off campus. I have worked on two short term projects, one is Migration and done basic scripting as development experience there, In second one done manual testing work. In March this year, my second project got completed and I got release from project. I was on bench for few days after that I got a support project which initially i thought I can do some enhancement work here, but utter disappointment this project is, 97% tickets here are Access requests and maximum work of 2 hrs daily. I don nothing apart from mailing clients n shiet and sometimes call with clients. I got frustrated because of this.

Now, If I ask for release from this project now, will they accept it? Or will it impact my year end rating, I'm getting afraid now. Please help me what should I do.

A month ago I had 2 good offers. One was from a stable start up which had good salary and amazing perks and one from a company which has a good brand and decent benefits. 

Naturally, I took up the one that has good brand value. I was hired for python automation, which has always been my domain. Now, it's been a week since I'm in this project and they want me to take up the maintenance part in python automation and start looking into another project that involves Java, javascript, testng and mocha.

I'm already stressed because the existing framework is huge and very well written. I'm still trying to grasp the python automation framework part. 

Now this new challenge. How should I react??

I'm working as a BA in my current org. I'm on bench for more than 30 days and I have dropped my resignation but the HR is not approving my early release. I have an offer in hand and I need to join in another 15 days. In even agreed for notice period buyout but still that HR isn't allowing. 

It's really upsetting when we do not have any dependencies why do the HR ask to serve the complete notice period? Infact it is a loss for them to keep Billing me in bench.

Please advice what can be done here in my situation

Hi All,

I need suggestion from everyone from software/cloud/devops industry. As right i in a very worst condition. After working 2 years straight as aws cloud engineer i joined a product based company which promised that the work i’ll be doing is will be related cloud, devops and automation. But since one year i haven’t got any work which was promised else they provide me work to automate onprem network devices automation that too i have to request my team to give me some work. As i am the only one in the team who knows automation and cloud related things. I try to gave some interviews but some say no because of current salary and for some of them they have very high expectations as i am 3 years experienced guy. Can anyone who have been through same situation please guide me or help as i really wanted to grow technically but i am unable to.
