I am currently a senior associate however the nature of job is more like operations manager with 100% client satisfaction for driving my team of 10+ level 2 engineers to meet product / process /service level agreement with an avg of 95% and above, for past 2 years. Challenges and Contributions:
• Joined a team of 5, facing tight deadlines and escalating challenges.
• Non-tech background but injected administrative skills, streamlining project management and operational processes.
• Conducted 100-200 interviews monthly, meticulously filtering candidates on a tight budget.

Burnout and Promises:
• Burnout from 12-13 hour workdays, skipping holidays.Assurances of growth for everyone as the company expands. 
• Promised on reimbursement , which didn't happen.

Shift in Dynamics:
• After 2 years, team expanded to 30 members.
• Entry of a senior manager triggered organizational changes, leading to politics and misunderstandings.
• Company achieved its goals, securing a pre-seed investment of 3.5 million USD.

Unexpected Turn:
• Migrated everyone to a new company post-OKRs, except for me.
• Left without a role and dismissed due to the absence of a space for non-technical roles.
• Was quiet fired with alot of trauma. But was strong enough to get back on my feet

What should my strategy be if I want to 4x my current salary (let's say go from 7LPA to approx 30LPA) in the next 4-5 years? Is this a realistic expectation to have moving forward? With regards to my work ex; I started off my career with sales, worked for 7 months, left the job, upskilled myself a little bit and landed a product manager role. I have been working in support for the last 6 years and have had a decent growth in my professional career so far. However whenever I think about the future, I get a little scared.

Even when I check on Grapevine, all I see is Software Developers and Engineers making real good money, even the ones that have only 2-3 YOE. I barely see anyone here from the support sharing how great they are doing.

I am currently earning 20LPA and I am not sure how far I can get in support vertically and hence have been thinking about learning coding and moving horizontally to Coding to ensure a better future I guess.

Is it worth it?

Switching from Customer Support to Software Engineering

Hi guys

I am working in L3 role at one of the Amazon fresh FC in Mumbai. My job has gotten super hectic since past month. The expectation set by leadership is simply unreasonable. I am responsible for the entire operations that happens in warehouse. They are now asking me to run an entire FC with very minimal manpower which is even theoretically impossible. I feel bad for the blue collars who work under me as they are literally breaking their back so that we can be "customer obsessed"

Please help me know how to escape this shit. I am yet to reach the saturation point and when that's gonna hit I am just gonna put in my papers. I deserve better than this.

I don't know any programming languages but I have engineering background. I have enrolled for DSA course and have completed only the python module of it. This was two years ago. I am now looking for ERP consulting roles however since Amazon has its own ERP developed I can't get any handson experience with ERP tool like SAP, infor, Oracle etc.

I want to transition into a tech/IT role possibly related to supply chain. What should I do now?
