I have been working on Android development for 5+ years now. Mostly native Android. Is it possible at my level to find new jobs in other technology (backend or Frontend web). 
My current organisation doesn't have an option to do so. So I will need to switch companies.
How should I go about it?

How did you transition from Android to BE. What was your strategy here. Did you just start applying for BE jobs directly and learnt on the job or did you guys do any sort of preparation earlier.

I am already well versed with Java and Kotlin. What advice would you give me.

I am working for a service based company. my profile is Devops engineer. I have a 1.6 year full stack developer experience . The last 6 months I have been doing work on the cloud. I switched to DevOps profile. I have a  total of 2 YOE and my current pkg is 4.75 CTC. you all know it's time to start for appraisal so how can I  take more hikes and how can I propose ?

Hey Folks, as the title says- need some help choosing the correct path. I'm a Frontend Engg.(3 yrs exp), I always wanted to be an Android Dev, back in 2019-2020 I grinded with Java, basic Android Concepts, Kotlin, Android Architecture Concepts etc. I learnt all these by heart and had good understanding of things. But somehow I got influenced into Frontend Development and stopped Android. Fast forward 2024, I now feel it was a wrong step, given that I had learnt so many things. 
I want to restart Android Development and look for some guidance and resources. 

Any help/guidance from Android Devs related to this would be highly appreciated.

How to restart as an Android Dev?

I have experience with Android Dev for around 1.5 yrs, then recently worked on backend for around 6 months. An opportunity for building an iOS app is also knocking at the door.
I want to explore these options given that I graduated in 2020, I feel I am still in my early career. 

Will these doman switch hurt when I am back in Job market. As in not having enough vertical experience in one domain and spreading myself too thin.

If you want to grow, don't take lollipop from your current organisation like 30% hike or 40% hike. If they wanted to give they have given you already. Just because you have another offer in hand and in that company you can put value and learn more which helps you in career growth. Companies like infosys, tcs and other mnc will offer you such hikes in order to retain you but you know what you learned in past in these companies, so if you have better opportunity go for it

I got laid off in Sept. since then looking for a Job. 
market is so scary. 
Few questions:
1. a lot of companies are hiring through crewscale, etc. they are offering low salary as per the role. are companies paying low salary to them or they are taking a big cut? do people treat them differently once they join a company via crewscale?

2. I am not able to get my resume shortlist for mncs. 

what to do now? recently my friend got a call from razorpay gehy were offering for sde role 15 lakh for 2 years experienced. they were paying 22 lakh for sde 1 last year. the role is not product engg or solution ennggg that they recently introduced for low salary. it was sde role.

I am ome of the regular corporate employees of India who is earning 3.6LPA in reputed MNC working on Java support. As I need assistance on my career and don't know where to ask, posting here . So below are the options I wanted to do but I am confused where and what to start.
1) Should I upskill more on Java only 
2) Should I need to switch to any other domain like AWS, Azure, cybersecurity 
3) Should I need to do any other integrated course which will be available in platforms like Upgrad.

Why these options means, I need to earn a decent salary par with Industry. 
These are the random options in my mind and I am unable to choose one thing. Due to this I am stuck in my career and my friends are earning more than me.

Hi, I'm working as a Frontend Dev for the past 3 years. Have good understanding and in-depth knowledge of things in JavaScript, React. 
Mentored folks/peers, cracked couple of offers from startups and other companies in the past. 
However, in my initial days I always wanted to be an ANDROID DEVELOPER, learnt Java, Kotlin Android Concepts till MVVM approach. 
Nowadays, as the Frontend domain is getting more cluttered, I'm thinking to move to Android domain considering the competition would be lesser there. 
Or start REACT NATIVE. 
Need some suggestion here.
