How's your relationship with money ?
what is money to you ?
do you have a few goals you want to achieve with money or don't know what to do ?
are you investing or is it just rotting away in the bank ?
are you controlling your money or is it the other way around?
do you get stressed about expenses or are you chill about it ?
do you see expenses as investments ?
are you attached to the amount of money you have ?
do you easily give money if someone needs a few lakhs and asks for it ?
you got the idea I guess, basically what's your relationship with money?
my view about money changed once I started seeing expenses as investments ☺️
Money for me is a finite entity that I have. I am at juncture where I still need to earn a Lot more.
I divide the money across different things - investments, wants, needs
Getting more money in future would be more to spend on the relationships I have to strengthen them, I think that would make me the most happy
Money is a means for stability. I have been laid off and never cared about it because I had enough to sustain for years.
The first goal is to have Fuck you money, followed by FIRE.
I invest about 50% if my salary. Trying to increase that number further. Being a control freak, I try to have as much control over it.
Not stressed about my expenses because I track each debit manually and eventually put it in an excel sheet at the end of the month.
I’m at 42L net worth. The process of investing started since 2020.
And I don’t aim to give money out to people since almost all of it is invested and I don’t like liquidating for myself, let alone for someone else.
I don’t get this statement though- expenses as investments.
I'm frugal and now money no longer gives me happiness, i no longer wait for month end.
But still running behind it.
