Hey everyone, So I have done my Bachelors in Engineering and I am thinking of switching to the role of Business Analyst. I was wondering if anyone could help me out wether it’d be a good idea or not also if I make the switch which skills or tools should I work on to make my profile look good or stand out. Other than that I am thinking of doing MBA so I am starting to prep for GMAT too so if you guys could give input on that would appreciate that. Thank you. The reason being for me switching is that my field is not giving me any job openings or opportunities which I can look or commit for a longer period of time.

I have been working as a Software engineer since the past 2 years (work from home), but now I will have to shift. 
I have been thinking about going for an Mba since last year and will be self-prepping, since I have the basics (I did prepare last year) I am confused on the course for preparation
I've been thinking to go full on with Mocks and tests for the time remaining (I'll start the prep now)

People who have been in similar situation, what mock test series did you find accomodating and flexible ? I would want to have as much flexibility in mock tests because some days I can devote 4-5 hrs, but some days it would be lesser. 
I've come across SIMCATs, AIMCATs and CatKing's mock series. Are they good ?

Need some guidance for MBA prep with a full time job

I need some advice. 

1. I am a fresher and am considering giving the CAT exam this year. 
2. Currently working as a data science intern and frankly, not enjoying it a bit. I dread debugging. I also feel everyday that AI can easily do 75% of my work. 
3. I want some business side roles, thinking I won't have to stare at a screen all day, fixing bugs. 

What roles can I expect after doing a MBA, is it worth the extra 2 years and the money, and if you are someone who can relate to my situation, what are some of the things you enjoy about your work and some things which you absolutely hate. 

I might have completely wrong expectations, so please feel free to correct me.

I am currently working at an early stage startup as a software engineer and have been working here since around couple of years full time and an internship prior to that. I am getting a decent salary and the work environment is also good.

But While I write this, I have started feeling stagnated and bored at work and feel that I am not growing in career. This is one reason that has led to me start slacking off at work and take long time to complete tasks.😓

However, I don't want this to continue and thus am here for advice. I am trying to apply to various companies but only to receive rejections. Not even getting an interview call. I am planning to prepare for MBA and the exam is in November. But since folks usually prepare for MBA alongwith job so it means I should continue my job if I want to do so which is another problem for me. I am even confused if I want to an MBA since only the product management role out of it attracts me and not the consulting/investment banking once. So I am not sure if I should even do an MBA. 😒

I discussed this with my parents and they asked me to leave job and prepare for UPSC. Honestly, I have some interest in the exam and the job is great as well no doubt but being 26 years old I am not fully sure of taking this call  since it involves a lot of risk.

All this has been causing lot of conundrum in my brain and it would be really helpful if anyone can suggest any things that I am missing out or that can be simplified.🙏

Need some advice guys. I am currently working in oracle as a software developer since 2 years. I like the work but I want to expand my horizon and move into management roles and am interested in doing a global MBA from a reputed institute preferably Ivy League.
But I was told by someone that the global market is very bad and to get roles like Management Consultant and PE/VC, I need some finance/analytics background. So should I switch to same role in a bank like Goldman Sachs to get little finance knowledge. Please let me know if this information is true.

Quick context: I have 4 years of workex in the field of digital marketing and my age is 25. Package is in the range of 12-15 LPA (without esops). Currently working with a reputed unicorn startup. I have scheduled my GMAT in next few months but going by my prep I don't think I'll get the cutoff off for ISB. 
Is it gonna be the end of the world or should I continue preparing even if I'm going to a B school at the age of 27/28 ?
