So, my current job is something I don't like. I don't enjoy it as it is almost stagnant. There's no work, but there's still this anxiety of work. The company doesn't know what it is doing, so even I have no work that I can do.

This doesn't align with my career goals and I feel like every day I spend in this company, I'm literally destroying my career in long term.

I want to resign, but the market is bad, specially for product roles. But I can't work here anymore. What should I do?

I am a 2023 graduate and currently working in a product based startup in Indiranagar. When I came to Bangalore a few months ago, it was all fun and exciting. I still love my work (working in multiple tech stacks). But somehow life outside the work has become somewhat boring. I do go on bike ride trips but again can't go every weekend.

I play badminton and cricket sometimes but still feel bored sometimes.

I don't go to clubs as I don't drink and smoke. Would love if you folks can suggest something?

How to chill in Bangalore?

I’m a Frontend Developer and also familiar with backend. I would like to build a secondary source of income. I haven’t decided on the option yet. Here are the ones I’m planning to consider:

- Freelancing - Not sure how to start. I think listing myself on upwork or other similar platforms will be hard for me to get clients with the competition that we have in those platforms 
- Blogging - Earning via Adsense. I don’t think I can cover all my expenses with it but it helps for smaller expenses 
YouTube- I’m not experienced in video editing. Not sure how to start. Also how many more years it will take for me to get monetised?

These are the options that I know. Please share the suggestions/ articles that can help me to get started. 

I can put around 7-10 hours per week for doing this.

Need help from you guys. I earn a decent amount of money without having to spend much time.
Now I wish to spend my spare time (say 6 to 8 hrs in a day) to do something fruitful and also earn an extra income. I want to know what is the recent trend, Affiliate marketing, Streaming, ChapGPT, Stock markets. I don't mind spending 2-3 years without any income, but I want to build something that is scalable.
PS - I am from a finance background and work in the stock markets. So publishing research reports on companies is something that comes natural to me. What is the TAM for this. Would you be willing to pay Rs. 5000 for an annual subscription if I publish a report on 12 or 24 small / mid caps in a year. Or maybe IPO research.

Is there anyone who is earning money without a regular job.
My skill set is programming, mostly making ( apps and web apps) personal projects nowadays.
I am trying to get a job as a software engineer, but most of the companies are trying to lowball and give max 10 lpa (some might say it is a good package in the current market, but with all due respect it might be good for you but not for me). i have around 1 year experience.

So, i am going to code and build projects but I also need money for my basic expense
That's why I am seeking help/advice on earning Money without a regular job with any digital skill  and also open to other skillsets that don't require digital skills.

Folks I need your inputs please. I am a single parent to two kids and have a full time job which is basically the only financial source and now WFH is ending and my problem is:

1. With the role n responsibilities i am fully booked for office work and not able to take care of the kids or house like i want to

2. Even if i hire someone like nanny i still thinking of their safety and activities they r doing bcoz i want to engage them is teaching or making them learn spend time with them as they grow be there for them ( bcoz i know how lonely it is to have working parents) so i don’t want them left with nanny bcoz i believe money can be made again but their childhood will not return 

3. Even if i get a WFH role, my time, energy and thinking capabilities will be taken up by the job only again leaving me less energetic, time to care for my kids

4 Everyone is against me leaving the job bcoz that’s the only financial source I have but i want to shift my stream maybe join as a school admin or start a food business that i can handle without much of mental stress but the pay will be way less

So I am looking for something which gives me the time and mental peace to spend and raise my kids with a decent money to meet the needs. 

What can i do???  please tell me any other way out or a guaranteed income source along with being with my kids

I am a PM at an edtech startup. The company is not doing well and my boss is not a good leader. Although company has a runway of 2 years. For the past 3 months I have been doing program management. No product management related work at all. No one appreciates you here. It's mentally challenging to work here. No road map for myself. No appraisal. I'm just going on the job for salary. For the past week, I have been thinking about quitting and taking a break. Then look for a job. I know the market is tough but I have runway for 4-5 months.
