Should I leave my job?

So, my current job is something I don't like. I don't enjoy it as it is almost stagnant. There's no work, but there's still this anxiety of work. The company doesn't know what it is doing, so even I have no work that I can do.

This doesn't align with my career goals and I feel like every day I spend in this company, I'm literally destroying my career in long term.

I want to resign, but the market is bad, specially for product roles. But I can't work here anymore. What should I do?

Do not resign until you have an offer in hand, period. Financial stability is very underrated. If you are anxious now, you'll be more likely even more anxious once you don't have a job.

Do the bare minimum that your job needs and keep looking for the new one. Don't look to be the top performer and all. That's the way to go.

Brother, The market is really bad, but do confirm it by applying frequently. So that you'll understand if you are getting enough calls based on your experience/resume.

Try if you can use your free time to improve your skills

Also consider that things like your current bank balance, your dependencies etc

If u r getting free time, try to give interviews or upskill but don't quit market is bad. Atleast u r getting some cash for savings.

Being unemployed will give u more anxiety when you will receive less call. The moment you cross 6 months you will feel like you have no experience for these 6months and no cash.

It's same for everyone :) Just try outside and leave when u have a good opportunity.
