I will move out of Bangalore or any city for 50%. This isn't the way to live life. Looking at my life, and if am mostly going to be a corporate slave, Not worth it.
There is no point is spending 3hrs on the road so that my boss can afford a bigger house or my ceo's son can go abroad for his studies.
I totally agree with this.. I feel for the money we make, we practically are giving up on living life...

What a martyr!
Monetarily it'll be a ~50k/pm hit. Does rent really add up to that much? Living at home is still expensive and AQI is worse.
Nah.
You can always go to any tier 2 city esp. places in ahemdabad, nagpur or bhubaneswar areas since they are super damn cheap.. especially considering you end up paying double the price on rent and fuel here... There is waiting for every damn thing and for everything you are ready to pay for there is someone who is ready to pay 10x the price for the same. You could live like a king in those areas as opposed to here..

Bolte sab hai, karta koi nai
During work from home, I stayed with parents in hometown. It was fantastic financially for me, but awful for mental health and loneliness. Bangalore offers a rich network of ambitious folks with a great mindset which I have learned a lot from and find very rewarding, maybe even more so that outweighs the issues of commute and traffic.
I guess this is true for people who are single. Totally agree..
Once u r married and have kids, it's different I guess.. have responsibilities and would like to find someone on similar lines 🙃

Stayed in Bangalore during COVID, it was really amazing! If everybody chooses to leave for their home town, I'll happily stay here
