In PM, want to transition to Backend dev role

Hi guys, need your help

I want to switch to the backend dev role, have pm experience of about 3yr

So what should be the plan?

Inter company switch? Or any new company will consider my cv?

Like the person has commented best scenario would be to contact current employer. I am 1.5 years work ex software developer and hardly receiving any interview calls. Market is totally fucked...

Best case scenario will be checking with your employer. However you may have to start from scratch. Working with college grads.

Precisely I feel with my experience and interest I want to pivot to a tech role.

On PM dislikes I don’t feel I dislike any of it, it has been more conformable rather than challenging

I just want to working on a wider spectrum of software world, and I have experienced PM is a very narrow role which one has to get into (wrt the previous domain, country, college etc)

if I ever feel like missing pming I can always shift to in later age, but transitioning later to tech roles might be harder.
