Indian IT jobs gonna be outsourced to gpt?
Open source software is free, but people still buy the licensed version for support. Gpt is stack overflow on steroids. It learns and evolves ... So do we.

accept the hard truth.... accept it!. LET'S REDUCE THE COMPETITION IN OUR FIELD. SCARE THEM!!!!
I am already frustrated when people less deserving and smoother talkers pass me for better positions. Not going to support forming Union so more undeserving people get ahead of me.

someone has to take the responsibility of code which is written of gpt, in case something breaks. who is going to be that person? not gpt for sure. End of the day they'll still need software engineers to make sure gpt has written right, efficient code.

Imagine ChatGPT trying to write code for unsolved Stack overflow threads and messing up big time
Going to Reddit and expecting nuanced, reasonable takes is a fraught initiative
Account owner's product is an anonymous review site for VCs
Not the best marker for the future of Indian services exports
And 250B USD isn't just software, it's customer support, CRM, financial services, consultancy, legal and risk advisory and many more
I'm quite skeptical that GPT-4 is going to erase any of that. In all honesty it'll speed workflows up to allow for more earnings.
ChatGPT 4 is going to make individual developers take up larger projects that would otherwise need a teamwork, so more startup companies will come up faster. But still such companies may not always achieve good business success.

It’s been this for some folks since 2008, and even more for some folks since 2001.
