Should we have a seperate Insurance other than  the one the company provides for ourselves and parents ?

My company provides me 8 lakh ka corporate plan, should I buy a top up plan from 10 lakh to 1 crore which cost me  3-4k. 

Can I use my corporate plan upto 10 lakh and if needed can use top-up plan. 

Both are of different companies. Is it possible?

I have asked around 5-10 people and they all have personal health insurance. They never register for the company 's insurance and use a personal one. Is it advisable to use a company 's health insurance lifelong and dont have a personal one.

I've completed 1 year in my first job. I've tried saving and investing some money, help me decide what I can do better:

Income: 22LPA

PPF: 3 Lakh
EPF: 2 Lakh
MF: 5 Lakh
Saving Account: 4.5 Lakh

Income for new FY post increment: 29LPA

I did these savings based on some advice from my elder brother.

I'd like to spend more this year though, with some travel and going out more, maybe even purchase a scooty/bike and a PS5 😁 - would these expenses be justified?

Apart from improving my savings & investments and 
still being able to afford a few luxuries, I want to know if I should get any of these:

- Health Insurance - Only 5 Lakh cover from company for me and my parents (note - parents are getting old)
- Life Insurance - Do we really need it, I'm still 24?

Spending money on individual health policy (family floater) when you already have corporate policy, is it a good idea ?

Most google searches will say Yes, but want to know your experience.

1. Personal Accident Insurance
2. Critical Illness Cover
3. Health Insurance 
4. Car/Bike Insurance
5. Term Life Insurance

Please feel free to suggest other products, if I have missed any.
Also please suggest any recommended insurance providers for those products.

Hey. I'm sorry if this question is a repeat, but I am currently on the lookout for medical insurance outside corporate insurance for my family (me, wife and newborn son). 
We are both working and are covered in corporate health insurance separately. But I have heard that a separate health insurance is better. What do you guys think? 
If you think it would be better to have a separate health insurance, which one would you guys suggest?

Thinking about Acko platinum for 4+2(Parents)+2(Parents In-laws) , in Acko platinum estimated cost would be roughly INR 1.4Lakhs for 1 crore insurance.

- ULIP with life cover (the ulip returns outdo the insurance by the time the policy ends usually) Vs Term life

- Health ( Family floater Vs Individual cover ) assuming no pre existing conditions
