Bhai don't be in a hurry. Enjoy your first year. Things will be jam packed as you progress through college. So thoroughly enjoy the first year. Maybe invest 5-7hrs weekly but that's more than enough. Also don't do internships where YOU have to pay the employer (hint, they're worthless)

Can someone please guide me in getting an internship (in banglore) in my first year, i know I don't have much expertise but still it would be great if I get some industry experience

Hii guys...how can I get internships in Bangalore??

Hey I am a student from kV and i have taken pcmcs(currently in 11th and interested in web dev) and I have been worried about my future from a long time and I don't want to do JEE or NEET and stuff like that, I cannot spend my years for a exam to get into a college where I will again spend my 4 years, I don't wanna do it, so my question is if I learn full stack dev or even frontend development, can I still get a job? Or can I get an internship from where I can get my experience and later apply for jobs, is there any way to get a job of frontend dev after 12th ?

I came Bangalore from Uttar Pradesh in January,2024 due to a internship and they don't extending my internship or getting conversion into fully time.
Below is brief introduction about me:

I am currently based in Bangalore and I have Internship experience as Software Engineer Intern at EMSEC, Bangalore. Here I worked closely on C/C++ firmware named ArduPilot and also implemented multithreading.

I also worked at at AceCoderz.io as React Trainee(Intern) where i successfully contributed couples of hundreds line of code [React+Node] and delivered the project within tight deadlines.


I have strong problem solving skills and have been consistent with solving problem on various coding sites. I have solved 1000+ questions on platforms like Leetcode, Gfg , Codechef and codeforces. ( 3 star at CodeChef and 5 star at Hackerrank.)

It would be great if you could see me as a potential candidate for the mentioned role at your organization. I can relocate anywhere in bangalore.

Hope this post reaches everyone well. I'm a final year engineering undergrad student from a core branch in a Tier 2 college. I'll cut to the chase - I hate my degree and want to switch over to DIgital Marketing. I recently completed a two month digital marketing internship in an arm of a retail brand. This was to test the waters; to see if I actually like Digital Marketing or just the idea of it. Turns out, it's pretty fun. While the tasks were mundane, I handled basic stuff like on-page SEO tactics, LOTS of content writing and a market analysis of our competitors. I wanted to also venture into other domains (like Performance Marketing and Brand Management), but I wasn't given the chance to do so.

Coming to the topic, what do I do from here? Look up case studies? A remote intership (which I'm unsure if I can handle with college)? And what exactly does 'build a portfolio' entail? And yes, I know the market is in the doldrums right now. This might be the worst time to embark on a career in Marketing, but I need to bet on myself now.

I've started applying for internships (January-July, leads appreciated!), and need guidance from someone elder than me on how to navigate the situation I'm in. Apologies for any errors.

TLDR: Engineering student hates his degree (nothing new), loves Digital Marketing, needs guidance from someone senior to figure out a path towards an alternate career.
