Such a shame. Almost all the Indigo flights I have taken in last couple of months have been late. New benchmark of Indigo standard time now 🤮

Indigo has become pathetic!

Saw this on Twitter today. Tech Mahindra hiring graduates for 3.25 LPA and 24*7 Shift timing. I talked to various people to get an idea of their pay. 
A) A plumber lives near my house. He said he earns 2-3k daily and works for 20-25 days average. He earns 50-60k per month. 
B) Electrician earns in the same range. 

And other technicians and workers like this who are skilled earn a lot more than a software engineer. 
This is the hard reality. Students study for 16 years and pay 15-20 lacs college fees for this.

Plumbers, Electricians earn more than an average engineer.

Welcome to the real world! 
  
 At the same time, you should know electricians/plumbers add more value to the society than a “fresher” TechM shift employee. If you’ve paid college fee that should not entitle you for a high-paying job. It’s just a privilege.  
  
 Sooner you realise this, better it would be.

Air India (some planes are good now, but still inconsistent)
Spicejet (if you are in luck, it's not too bad anymore) 

- **Tier 3** (I Don't Value My Life)
Air India Express (fka Air Asia - avoid for life)
Akasa (it's a great flight, as long as you assume your takeoff is at T+2 hours by default) 

Feel free to opine but this is how it is. I fly every month and have done so for years now.

Damn, let me tell you how Ola has messed up the auto rickshaw industry! They came in acting all fancy, promising convenience and fair prices. But what do we get? Overcharging like crazy! Their surge pricing during peak hours is a complete rip-off. They take advantage of our desperation and squeeze every penny out of us. And who suffers the most? The hardworking folks who rely on auto rickshaws every day.

But it doesn't stop there. Ola's profiteering tactics have destroyed the earning potential of auto rickshaw drivers. They used to have control over their fares and make a decent living. Now, Ola dictates the prices and leaves the drivers scraping for scraps. It's just not fair! They've disrupted the whole system, and not in a good way. The drivers are struggling, and we passengers are getting ripped off left and right. Ola, you've turned a once reliable and affordable mode of transportation into a nightmare. Shame on you!

A friend got caught for a drunk and drive situation few days ago in Bangalore around Bellandur area. The officer there sensed that he wasn't a Kannadiga and refused to encourage any off table affairs and registered the case against him and vehicle was seized.

Around the same time, I also got caught but spoke in Kannada with the police officer. I could manage to get out of the situation without any legal troubles.

I accompanied my friend to the T. P. Station to get the vehicle back. Strangely almost everyone whose vehicles were impounded, were

Not Kannadigas.

I felt strange and checking if anyone else got in similar situations and knowing and not knowing kannada had different outcomes.

Discrimination in Traffic challans in Bangalore

I was at a friends place and it suddenly started raining heavily. I had to reach my girlfriends place ASAP. She was already very angry that I was not spending enough time with her. The problem was that I was not getting any auto on Uber or Rapido.

I stopped an auto and asked it for a ride. He quoted Rs 800 for a 4km ride. I was like, "Are you crazy?" 
I somehow negotiated it down to Rs. 500. But it made me wonder why is this city like this.

Like everyone is trying to scam you. Every one is a grifter, from your landlord to auto wallahs to the cops.

What has quietly disappeared from society without people noticing in the last 10-20 years

So I walk back from work everyday. I work at Razorpay so I live nearby and save on commute costs by walking. 

Near Forum Mall, I have noticed that often times there are members of the trans community who force you to pay money to them. Even if you try to ignore them they will grope your private parts and sexually harass you by calling you names. I do not usually carry cash, so they asked me to pay Rs. 500.

I ddenied and after negotiating sent them Rs. 120 via GPay.  I do not want to pay, is it like some unofficial toll tax?

One time, I even saw them chasing someone who was trying to run away from them. They literally lifted their saree and exposed themselves to the entire mall while running.

I am generally very respectful to them and have worked for NGO Projects for their community. But I feel that recently this has become a major problem within the city.  I have noticed them harassing people everywhere now. From Red Lights to outside Malls.

I have complained to Forum Mall frontdesk but they refuse to do anything.
