I'm trying a lot to apply on LinkedIn. Seeing the number of applicants scared the shit out of me. For <24 hours of job posting, atleast 1000+ applications. How the hell the hiring team selects for their 2/3 openings out of these 1000's . I know they use ATS, yet they rejected by saying you are not in our budget zone ....bla..blaaa.

Hello guys; I have been actively applying to job/internship openings on LinkedIn (It might have reached 50+ by now) but what I get is either they ghost me, or reject me.

There's only 1 or 2 companies where I actually received a response but even they ghosted me after submitting practice assignment. Also; the rejection mail of each company is the same so I am starting to think that most of the jobs are automated by bots or something.


Can anyone suggest an active job search platform where employers post the role with the intention to hire employees, even look through the candidate's resume and respond instead of ghosting?

I'm kinda worried about AI as it can do greater analysis and generate insights in a lesser time when compared to humans. Will data analytics become useless in the future? So basically like every time I see a job vacancy I do apply for it.. But I'm not sure why I never get any calls back Or mails and these days I only see vacancies where they want only experienced people like more than 5 or 10.. Hey Folks I got recently impacted by layoff.I have experience in Analytics in ML. Need some guidance on how to leverage online platform more effectively for job search. My current actions are follows:-
1. Naukri : Should I kept it as service notice period or shall I put that I am current available to join in 15 days?
2. Linkedin : I am reaching out to post openings less than 24 hours using hashtags like #openings #analytics #immediate joiners 
My Profile : 8 YOE( relevant to ML 5 YOE)
Will appreciate all your valuable suggestions/feedback/alternate strategy/hacks to overcome this phase of my life.

I just went to LinkedIn and looked for Data Analyst and Data engineer roles, browsed some job posts in Bengaluru and some others. There are very few roles available and a lot of applicants for each job, forget entry level, there's very few posts for specific roles.

Same case with Indeed and others as well. I don't know when the situation will improve for this field

"Interviews are hard in that they have absolutely nothing to do with your day-to-day job. If I were to go through the interviews again right now I'd make a massive fool of myself. 

I'd say it's basically common knowledge that prior to making any hops, you've got to take at least a month or two to grind leetcode problems so that you're back in that head space where you can solve pointless problems with high efficiency.

Interviews are also hard because, if you end up with the personality type which views interviews as a chance to show how much more clever they are than everyone, then you've already failed. Their ego is tied to their "high bar" and impossible question set, and you're just fodder for them to show off that "high personal bar" during the de-brief."
