It went through my resume, parsed it and asked me questions related to the companies I worked with, projects and technologies/tools.
It understood the context from my answers, and asked me follow up questions. If I gave slightly vague answer it ensured to pick that specific part and formed next question on the basis of that.
It really felt like I'm talking to a real person.
This tool is more than enough to replace initial screening calls done by recruiters.

I would take anything blatantly positive about Mercor with a grain of salt. I think they are just trying to get in as many interviews as possible to train their AI, i haven't found any account of people actually getting contracts through it other than a month old 0 karma reddit bots.

Has anyone seen this? I've given two interviews recently The first round was taken by AI. If you stick to Q&A, don't ask counter questions there's no way you can differentiate between humans / bots.
Maybe HR can make pixel perfect rango...
