Layoffs at MPL
Friend got laid off from MPL(Mobile Premier League) today. They are firing in cabin. Don’t even give interviews to such companies

Any estimate how many people were sadly asked to leave?
I personally know 3 but more than 20+ left from a team because of layoffs and toxic work culture

I got to know from an ex boss who now works in MPL in a senior position.
They shut down one of the high quality major game (AAA rated)they were working on and moved to the other AAA game, which is also moving pretty slowly. They were supposed to launch in first half of 2022.
Many got laid off from the first team.
Work culture was amazing between 2020-21. Got toxic last year after 2 rounds of layoff
💯 work place was amazing between 20-22 but now it is worst 😒
Which teams are getting fired? I also heard that the culture there is very toxic.
engineering team special mobile (react native android and iOS)

No one is aware of this within MPL. This is really sad.
