Life is complex...
When did we stop living? What are we chasing? Why did we make living so complex? Life used to be so simple. Why are so tensed and worried all the time? When will all this end ?

When did we stop living?
The day we started prioritising 'log kya kahenge' over 'mera dil kya kehta hai'.
What are we chasing?
Materialistic possession, fame, acceptance, s**, recognition.
Why did we make living so complex?
Because of the desire for more and more. There is absolutely no end to it. People want to bring resources to Earth by mining moon, Mars, and asteroids.
Life used to be so simple. Why are so tensed and worried all the time?
Because we became part of the system and lost view of the world beyond it. Anything out of the box is shot down by people within the system and we feel discouraged and remain in the system.
When will all this end ?
Never. It's sad and cruel, but it will never end.

I simplified my life and it has never felt better tbh. Highly recommend others to take a good hard look at priorities in life.

Stopped looking for jobs and chasing higher CTC, started focusing on side hustle that grew further into main gig, moved out from tier 1 cities and started living with family, started exercising, meeting people and eating well with all the extra time.
Moving out from t1 cities itself is a huge simplifier. No more reason to chase jobs and salaries. Don't need much to survive in hometown with parents. No need for rent or everyday travel. Better food and water, lesser pollution.

You can try what i had done for myself. Uninstall Instagram. Enable a setting in which browser history is automatically deleted as soon as you quit browser. I use brave/1dm+ for watching YouTube so no recommendations here . I don't watch movies,/series until unless someone dragged me out of my house lol.You can stay updated about things which matter on Twitter .
Result of all above lead lots of time, which i definitely don't utilise much (sleeping more π
)but still also not filling my head with random thoughts. Lesser anxiety. More time to think. Talk to real people and much more
Because social media taught us being rich actually does buy you happiness/freedom and being gareeb is sad.
So everyone is in the rat race to make enough fuck you money to actually fuck off and start living.

when ? since the day of our birth
we are taught to earn money on priority not live, so life is going to be like this only
Nothing great to add here. Just one: when was life simple?
Ancients struggled with food, shelter, competition, disease, war, meaning of life, poverty. We do the same.
But, definitely meaningful detachment from over stimulation can give you much needed rest from the wandering mind and help you focus on what matters. Getting things done is the best way out in my experience.
Workout, write gratefulness journals, talk to old friends, laugh and cry. You will find yourself closer to yourself. Take that as a reset. Wish you great peace ahead my anon friend.

Life is a challenge for you to grow. If you are into management consulting, you would straight away see the elements that you need to value and tweak. But otherwise, I don't know who else has the clarity.

1. Moved out of bangalore 2 times just becaused wanted to not have too much on my plate :)
Also worked hard to move out :)
2.Recently started taking care of body and mind and slowly realised it's not a race if you don't make it one.
3. Took a travel break- Realised travelling to see and travelling to show is different .
4. Stopped consuming content : Only available on whatsapp (gonna shut it off soon)
5. Gaining control of financials to sort things early but no pressure of that too.

The rat race is what has ensured human survival. One must always participate in this rat race, especially for men. Generational survival is based on ones participation in this rat race. You compete at school level get s you into a good college. competing there gets you a good job, Without a "good job" the odds of starting a family is practically nil. Competing in that job get you the freedom to pursue what you want or help the next gen to pursue what they want. They will now get into this rat race for their survival. The cycle continues.
IMO the key is to know when to stop participating in this race.
This whole philosophical thoughts might work for women. But men don't have this excuse. We got to fight, whether we like it or not.
Highly recommend the book 'Die with Zero' if you are having such thoughts.
Will lead to important shift in perspective.
