Negotiating terms on resignation
I have resigned without an offer in hand and I just mentioned that it would be difficult for me to commit fully during the notice period as I have prepare. Also I have asked for remote work during the time. Now I am worried that they would fire without paying anything.. how legal or valid are my negotiating terms.
Did you put the terms in writing? You’re not obliged to commit fully during the notice period.
Also check your original agreement for terms. If they fire you, you should be entitled to the severance of the notice period duration (1-3 months)
They have a severance of 2 months.
I have also mentioned If they don't agree to my terms , then can terminate my employment by paying severance in advance.
Yes, I have put everything in writing that I will not be able to commit fully.

This makes no sense. If you are still employed and still want to receive full salary, why do you think you are entitled to work less than standard.
I can understand not wanting to work longer than standard hours. But it’s extremely unprofessional to say you won’t be working properly during notice.
