I was interviewed by a US startup whose JD mentioned that their compensation is comparable to big tech and there are no constraints for the right candidate.  
  
 I went through the entire process (for 5 YOE) and ended up getting an 11 LPA senior SDE offer. When I asked about how this comp's comparable to big tech, they started spouting some PPP difference crap. 
  
 Later, they updated the JD to mention the 7 LPA to 12 LPA range but forgot to remove the statement about comparable big tech compensation.

Dear new graduates, stop working for companies who pay shit while they earn in billions. You are way more worthy then this, start setting a bar for yourself like they do. If you don't stop joining these companies they will continue to treat the same to the next generation. Stop working for pennies. You can earn more than you think search for a companies who pay more. Don't sign any kind of bonds. Work hard, earn more. Stop this habit of joining these companies like our elders did.

I have done my bachelor's and Mba from  distance , university approved by UGC . I cleared my interview with Accenture but during background verification and offer discussion they asked if I have done 15 years of full time education to which I explained things.
Now I am waiting for their call back.

Whatever i have read says Accenture has a strict policy to not take people who have not completed 15 years of  full time education.also in the job description they add this criteria specifically.
But in the position to which i applied it was only minimum 15 years of education (no full time education was mentioned)

Is there any exception, can someone guide.

I have 5 years of experience bdw. 

Shall I wait or not.

I am a 26/M/60+LPA/IITian Software Engineer at a FAANG. I have spent most of my time travelling places with my friends/solo and have dedicated a significant portion of my small life to my career, and I am quite happy with it. I am confused about one thing tho, should I get married? given I am happy living like this, I just want to hear what men have to say on this, I want to know given a chance would you guys get married? If yes how to check if a woman is a fine fit for you? I made a rule to only date a woman who makes at least 70% of my salary OR has an excellent academic background AND should be humble. With these set of rules the chances of finding a girl is almost slim to none given ratio at good colleges and at high paying tech jobs are like that 🤧, I am sure people won't find these rules good, but I want to know if I am being stupid pls correct me it will help me reshape my thinking.

So went to tier 1/1.5 , EE branch , during placement I never really found interest in DSA. Thought I’ll do a simple job but now when I see my peers getting into big product companies , with great pay I feel so sad. I feel like I should have prepared better. And then after coming to Bangalore it feels even more sad because whenever I go on dates the other guy is always an IIT guy earning more than me 😅. Even among my friends I kinda envy them that they have chill wlb plus better pay . 
Is this how life is?

How to not get jealous of your friends success

Your situation isn't too dire. You can always prepare now, upskill and switch to better openings. With more experience, your compensations will standardise with the median. 
  
 But you should also address the underlying feelings behind this jealousy. There are always going to be a ton of folks ahead of you so this feeling probably won't go away unless you make it.

I just finished an interview with ServiceNow for a senior software engineer role and writing this up.

Anger rushed through my body after finishing the interview for multiple reasons.

reasons:
1. The interviewer joined 10 minutes late and he was very lethargic.
2. The questions he asked regarding my current job were very basic and then I realized that he should be fresher or should have 2 - 3 years of experience.
3. After the interview I checked his profile on LinkedIn and he was a 2021 graduate (as I guessed).
4. I don't understand why an organization assigns software engineers (2.5 YOE) as interviewers for hiring a senior software engineer(8+ YOE). It doesn't make sense to me.
5. Then the interviewer asked a basic DSA question, and I gave him the solution, now he was not familiar with the Python language hence intrigued about the implementation of the heapify in Python. I explained to him how Heapify works but still, he could not understand what it is.
6. The part I got pissed off is the interviewer's attitude of him knowing everything.
7. The interview was scheduled for 1 hour and we went overtime, it's okay to go overtime by 5-10 minutes., But this guy is taking more than 20 minutes. He din't have basic ethics of valuing candidate's time.

This is not my first interview with ServiceNow, this is my second and I had same feelings in the first interview as well.

It's okay for me to not grab this opportunity, but think about someone who is really struggling to get a job during this tough time, because of the interviewer being lethargic.

Hope ServiceNow focuses on their interviewing system and improves it.

Recently, I've been observing a concerning trend that I haven't observed before in my 5 years in this industry. 

A large no. of job openings are coming up at mid-sized companies and startups that require 5+ years of experience but pay 7-12 LPA. One of these companies even used to pay a decent more when I'd applied to it a few years before

Does anyone have insights on the root causes behind this trend and how it will shape up the job market going forward?

My hypotheses on root causes:-
(1) Bad job market
(2) Advent of AI

I have been online on a lot of sites (shaadi.com, Bharatmatrimony etc) for 2 years now but it’s been really hard to get a guy.

There have not been many expectations, just a decently well educated guy who can talk with respect to ladies (I find it really hard to get guys of the latter, on these sites)
