Notice period in Infosys
I may get admission to a b-school in june. And classes commence in june as well. How can i resign without serving a notice period and without paying money? Do HR accept situations like this?
Every company has a tentative notice period which employees are expected to serve. However, there can be situations where you would require an early release. Generally, the notice period at Infosys is three months. But, if you need an early release, you can let your manager and HR know about your situation.
If you want to leave Infosys on grounds of pursuing higher education, an early notice period is possible. However, for other cases, an early release may not be possible. Whatever the case is, you can talk to your manager, give him your valid reasons and come to a solution. If your manager is understanding, you can leave Infosys before 3 months. However, if they can’t find your replacement in a given time, you have to serve a full 3 months' notice.
