Pros
- Some teams are trying to solve good problems.
- Tech stack is updated as per market.
- Pay used to be competitive.
- Someone who is starting their career and just wants to learn with almost no money, you can join.
Cons
- Pathetic middle management.
- Tech seems to be going downhill.
- Upper management conveys in town halls that tech is not the main priority and we can work with B grade tech.
- Constant layoffs, PIPs, unrealistic deadlines.
- Favouritism culture at its peak.
- Upper management selectively answers questions in town-halls and skips the real questions.
- EM’s hands are tied by upper management, they have almost no say in their subordinates future/appraisal/career plan and gets pressure from both the sides.
- Food business is somewhat break-even, Instamart is burning money.
- All good folks were either laid off or left due to pathetic culture.
- New CTO has the best fan following within the org and takes the best business and tech driven decisions (I hope you understand the sarcasm).
